4th floor cosy apartment in Metaxourgeio

Pros: Amazing bed. That indeed was exceptional. Clean and value for money apartment.

Cons: Its a noisy building, with old balcony tents that even the slightest wind wakes you up all the time.

Pros: Location worked out great as we wanted to be by Larissa station. Apartment was very well equipped with all the necessities.

Cons: All good.

It had all we needed.

Pros: This is a one bedroom apartment, and as the name suggests, it really is cosy! Our host was wonderful. We stayed for about 8 nights, and we loved it! The bed was comfortable. There were two air-conditioners, one in the bedroom and another in the living room. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything I needed! It was fully operational, even for my needs, and I am an avid cook. There was a washing machine and dryer which made life a lot easier for us. The apartment door could be locked four times for added security. The wifi was fast, and we had no problems with streaming netflix.

Cons: The downside was the hot water, which we had to manually control via switchboard and turn it on an hour before use and remember to turn it off. We also found the water pressure in the shower to be very weak. The view from the windows is not too great. It just opens to other apartments. Also, a note to other tourists who are not aware of Athens: areas around the Omonia Square, such as Metaxourgeio, are not very safe at night. This is something we heard from the locals. However, we have not experienced anything ourselves. We were always careful.

Good solution!

Pros: The house is nice ,clean and there's everything needed indeed. Beds are really comfortable! The host was really kind and answered to all our questions. It has a good position to reach the city centre and other interesting places. There's a supermarket very close on the same street.

Cons: There's a gym in the internal courtyard, so it might be a bit noisy in the evening. But we slept very well anyway 😁. One little thing: since the kitchen is a bit narrow and we were 4, if we had 2 stools we would have managed to seat all together at the table.

Good value

Pros: Nice apartment at a good price. Clean and comfortable enough with everything we needed and within easy reach of the centre and easy to check in. Only complaints were that the shower needs fixing so you can actually stand under it, the bedding was really crumpled and unappealing, new pillows are needed and the washer & dryer in the bathroom make it very cramped in there.

Pros: Very best location near railway station Stathmos Larissis. A lot of markets and restaurants near. Very clean, comfortable and quiet apartment. Very comfortable beds. Good internet. Thank you!

Pros: Besides that everything was fine:) The host was very helpfull and kind, location was perfect just few minutes away from metro station and also the distance to the city center was walkable as well if you didnt want to use subway each time.

Cons: The hairdryer only blew cold air, we stayed during january so I found that a bit odd:/

Pros: Due to some problems we couldn’t stay at the apartment nonetheless the host was very gentle giving us another place for staying and trying to help us in any way as possible. He even gave us recommendations for travelling through the islands which were extremely useful. Recommend ! Thank you!!

Pros: Hospitality in the 21st century is not that much anymore about the looks because that has became the standard, but it’s more about building a relationship with your guests, taking care of them and going the extra mile. This is exactly what the host has done to solve a hard situation he was facing and was completely out of his control. Finding hosts like this is gold nowadays and you can be sure that you’re gonna have a good stay with him
