Hospes - Chic retro retreat in the heart of Athens

Pros: Conveniently located apartment only a moments walk from the Acropolis, Metro and the beautiful shops and restaurants of Plaka. The apartment is comfortable, and the hosts are responsive to questions. The apartment is thoughtfully styled and a lovely place to wind down after your day exploring.

Cons: The kitchen is not overally equipped for cooking, it is suited for heating up pre prepared meals but implements like chopping boards, knives for cutting and medium size pans are not provided.

Pros: Great apartment, very tastefully furnished and very clean. Huge living space and a balcony area with a great view. The host was very easy to communicate with via WhatsApp and responsive to any questions I had. It was self check-in via a lock box that contained the keys to the apartment. I will definitely be checking if this apartment is available again when I visit Athens again next year!

Cons: It is a little noisy, since the apartment is on a central boulevard.

Good experience with a few drawbacks

Pros: The room was very clean and it's location was ideal. The bed was very large and comfortable. The bathroom was clean with hot water. Internet supply was good. Generally the experience was positive.

Cons: The TV had no local channels and was NOT located in the bedroom but rather in the living room which is totally not usable since it has a small and uncomfortable sofa. The bathroom lacks any hangers for the towels which is rather unpleasant. The kitchen had no trash bin and the cleaning sponge was worn and should have been replaced. A water bottle in the fridge would be also welcome. Finally, the entrance door is very old and does not give any sense of security. Generally, this flat can improve a lot after following these small details.

Pros: Posizione comda e centrale a due passi dall'acropoli,dal quartiere plaka e dalla metro. Terrazzo, appartamento spazioso e luminoso, ascensore.

Sehr gut

Pros: Sehr schöne Unterkunft. Lage war top alles wichtige fußläufig. Sehr gut ausgestattet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Cons: Etwas laut, da an der Hauptstraße.

Historical gem in the heart of Athens!

Pros: Absolutely lovely host (always ready to answer all the questions and even come to help with the door!) and amazing apartment! Euharisto poli for an unforgettable experience! The apartment is located in historical area of Athens, close to all main attractions, good transport connections (trams, metro, buses, taxi). Temple of Zeus view! Groceries, shops, tours office all in 2-5 mins walk!

Cons: Might be a bit noisy because of the street in front. Wish there was a washing machine, but there are laundries around the area!
