Aiolos Apartments Ermou 64 Monastiraki Plaka Junior Suite

Exceptional stay in the heart of Athens!

Pros: I had a truly wonderful experience staying at this apartment. The location is simply unbeatable — right on Ermou Street in Monastiraki, within walking distance of everything. Monastiraki Square, Syntagma Square, the Acropolis, Plaka, and countless restaurants, cafés, and shops are just steps away. The metro station is extremely close, including the direct airport line, which makes transportation incredibly convenient. The apartment itself was spotless, very well maintained, and extremely comfortable. The building is secure and gives a real sense of safety and privacy, which I truly appreciated. The host was professional, responsive, and very respectful. Everything was smooth from check-in to check-out. I highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Athens. I will definitely return if I have the opportunity.

Excellent property for your stay in Athens!

Pros: This property is very well maintained and very clean. The location is right in the middle of the vibrant centre of Athens. Close to the metro and plenty of the main attractions in Athens.

Great location, good size, central location.

Pros: The location is excellent and the size of the room and bed were also very good. Air-conditioning works very well and is individually controlled. Good sized shower and one thing I appreciate is when there are lots of towel rails and hooks in the bathroom, which there was. The room was very clean when we arrived. Mr Andreas was very helpful and easy to reach on WhatsApp if we needed anything. Overall, this is an inexpensive room in a very central location and I would stay here again.

Cons: Central location unfortunately also means noisy. There was music on the street outside the window until almost 1am some days (particularly Friday and Saturday). The cleaner came in after two of our four day stay, but didn't do a very good job. The floor in the bathroom was more dirty after the cleaner had been (like she had swept everything into one place and not swept it up or used a dirty mop) and the toilet flush buttons and tap had not been cleaned at all, but she did take out the rubbish and give us new towels which was nice. Note that you have to ask for an iron and ironing board in advance of when you need it. When I saw there wasn't one, I messaged Mr Andreas and he had one delivered the next day.

A fabulous room in a terrific location. Owners very helpful. Would recommend to stay here.

Pros: Great location with a large room, fridge, comfortable bedding. Great massage place at entrance.

Cons: Air con turned off in night and woke up in a sweat both nights. May be on a timer?. Could do with a photograph of the buildings either side of the laneway (as well as inside)

AIOLOS : a hidden gem !

Pros: It was excellent. A most wonderful surprise in the middle of a busy stretch of central athens. It is a perfect location to get to everywhere you need to. For further destinations the metro is 5mins away.

Cons: It can be a bit noisy when there is an event on but that only happened on one of the nights. The windows are noise proof, it was just a very loud concert.

Good value, well located, comfortable apartment.

Pros: Comfortable apartment, particularly the mattress. Good communications from the host regarding check in and check out and checking to make sure everything was okay during the stay.

Cons: No iron in the apartment. (This was listed under property facilities, so we didn't bring one, but we needed one.) Light on the first flight of stairs didn't work.

Pros: Spacious, clean, centrally located, beautiful interior design!
