City Break Metro Ambelokipi

Great big fully equipped apartment very close to metro

Pros: I liked most of everything. The host very welcoming and friendly. Let me check in before the check in time. Location superb. 2 minutes walk from the metro station. Nice neighbourhood. In the apartment everything you need and even more. Huge size of a living room with the kitchen with all equipment and utilities and a good size bedroom with a very comfy bed. Great aircon. Wash machine in the bathroom with the washing powder even. Big terrace with a table and 4 chairs and sunbed for own use. Some trees and bush with pleasant shadow. I highly recommend.

Cons: Some little faults to fix for a handyman. The broken tap in the bathroom splashed me all around. That was actually funny. The host immediately temporary fixed it with the promise to do better. The curtain left in my hand when tried uncover a terrace door window. That was funny too. The door to the apartment very hard to open. I had to use correct set of lock and force and this was not funny. The ceiling lighting in the living room was flashing every now and then like it was about to cut off. Those little faults didn't really made any bad impression overal and I would definitely be back when in Athens again.

Pros: Perfect location, next to the metro station Ambelokipoi, it has all the amenities one might need for a short stay, and despite being so centrally located it was quiet and had a lovely terrace to chill and relax. The owner was very friendly and hospitable and ready to accommodate or address any issues that might occur.

A cosy and secure space with garden space and closeto facilities such as the Metro and Restaurants.

Pros: The bed was superbly comfortable. The private garden is a huge bonus. The location was perfect for our needs. The apartment felt secure.

Cons: The toilet being in the shower compartment with no screen between.

Pros: Right next to the Ambelokipi subway station. Very convenient for a short stay for business or leisure. Everything you need within 5 min walk. Nice mattress. The apartment was comfy. There is a nice little terrace we didn't use.

Cons: It was a nice stay. Good value for money. A few parts of the house need to be refurbished.

Spacious with a wonderful private courtyard.

Pros: It was very clean and spacious and the private courtyard was a lovely bonus. The location was also perfect.

Cons: Instructions for the cooker would have been helpful as it has a child lock and how to unlock was not obvious. We had to google the cooker. Also, it would have been help to know which of the many Wifi router names was the right one for the apartment as it had the factory default name.

Homely apartment with a kitchen, garden and comfy bed!

Pros: Loved the high ceilings and living room space. Appreciated there being a washing machine. No dryer but there was a drying rack and a garden space to dry our laundry. Kitchen was fully equipped and we enjoyed using the oven. Bed was very comfy. Easy to communicate with the staff via WhatsApp.

Cons: In the summer it's quite hot and while the AC in the living room is great, it doesn't quite reach the bedroom. There's no AC or fan in the bedroom and it can be stuffy on a still night.

Pros: Everything was really greate! The clearness and the localisation were very good. Also there was everything you need to feel comfortable :)

Pros: Lovely apartment in a great location (it is easy to get around from there using the metro), clean, beautifully decorated. The hosts were so friendly and helpful! The highlight was of course the garden, we had not so much time unfortunately as we spent only one afternoon there, but it was great to finish the day and spend relaxed moments in the garden! We hope to be back there soon!

Cons: Everything was great, wished we had more time!

Would definitely go for it again on my next trip to Athens.

Pros: The area is excellent, it's a 2-3 minute walk from Ambelokipi metro station which is on the blue line direct from the airport, the apartment size and its facilities are excellent for a couple, and it had a cute small terrace too. The owners are warm and responsive and everything was very smooth.

Cons: Unlocking the front door of the building is tricky and I got a small cut in my finger. Just be careful not to push the door in while holding the key. Unlock then push the door using the door handle. This is actually a common issue in different buildings we've stayed in and not just this one.
