Blue Ark Gate to History

Pros: There is a big apartment with everything you need, very close to Akropolis. The host was very nice to present us many facilities around. If you do not come by car and if it does not rain in the day you come or need to leave, then you can be almost fully satisfied.

Cons: The parking situation is a big problem. For two days we didn’t move our car from the parking spot just so we wouldn’t lose it. On the third day we needed to go to Nea Makri and in the evening I had to drive around many blocks to find a spot. I finally found one about 400 meters from the apartment. Then, the next day we had to leave, and I had to walk in heavy rain to get the car. At 11:00 the cleaner rang, and we still hadn’t left the apartment because of the rain, so I hurried to load everything into the car and ended up soaked to the skin. In addition, in a corner between one of the bedrooms and the bathroom, there was a noticeable mold odor.

Pros: Our second visit to a Blue Ark property and definitely not our last! Great communication from beginning to end, spotlessly clean, great kitchen facilities, all kinds of coffee left by the hosts, along with bread, butter, jam , cereal and water in the fridge....We visited in December and they even decorated a Christmas tree in the living room....Well done to the Blue Ark team, keep up the good work!!! Great location

Pros: Great location, you are 1 stop away from acropolis museum and many other tourist attractions 100 to 200 steps away from street food to fine dining restaurants 2 min away from tram, metro and bus

Cons: Well not sure I have over looked , this apartment comes with only one family toilet

Pros: Very nice place close to center . When you want to visi Athens this place offer very good choice to go anywhere. Restaurants and shops very close to house.

Pros: The host was incredibly professional. Clear communication and proactive approach and instructions. Made sure we were well. Small attention at our arrival (bread, marmelade, cereals for our first morning). Quiet and clean premises. Very well located. Highly recommended. We had a great time in Athenes. Thank you Hector.

A very pleasant stay at Athens

Pros: They provided two kinds of oatmeal and children loved the chocolate-flavored one. The grocery shop nearby meets all our needs. The microwave oven is a surprise as we read about the lack of that in the previous review, but they are surely listening to the feedback.

Cons: The cloth washing machine is a little struggled to spin-dry the washed clothes, than one may expect.
