Athens Marialena Apartment

Pros: Marialena is so nice and friendly. She shows us the place for very tasty local food. The home is spacious and comfortable for 4 adult. Definitely recommend it.

Highly recommended accommodation!

Pros: Marialena has been an amazing host. When I arrived with my mum, late in the evening, she had several drinks, snacks, breakfast and fresh fruit waiting for us, so we didn’t have to worry about breakfast the next morning. It felt like coming home to family. The next day, Marialena also surprised us with an amazing home made moussaka dish. And when we left, she gave us some goodbye presents. She is the sweetest host, I have ever met. The location of the apartment is very central. Without 10 min walking, you’re at a metrostation. Within 3 min, you’re at several bus stops. Very convenient to supermarkets and local eateries. The apartment is very spacious with 2 bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, a living room and 2 bathrooms. I’d highly recommend this place.

Comfortable, lots of extras, walking distance to Tavernas and cafes

Pros: The owner went out of her way to cater for everyone’s needs - beer, water, soft drinks, and wine in the fridge; fresh fruit, chocolate croissants, danish pasties, cake, biscuits etc. And, as it was her birthday, she bought us patisserie cake.

Wonderful stay

Pros: The host was very good and generous. She took extra care to make us comfortable. Staying there was like staying at your own home. She kept breakfast items and goodies so that we need not worry about these things in the morning. She kept checking on us in the mornings to ensure we are comfortable, A lovely host and a beautiful house.

Perfect stay in Athens

Pros: Everything was great! Marialena is the loveliest host we ever met. Such a warm person, we enjoyed so much talking to her during our stay. She took great care that we did not miss anything from the apartment and gave us thorough explanations about all the facilities at the location, including some directions for tourist sights, transportation and supermarkets located in the nearby area. The apartment is in the vicinity of both metro and bus stations, but it is also in walkable distance to the city center. We will gladly book this place again when we re-visit Athens! Thank you, Marialena, again, for having us!

Cons: We don't have any complaints. The only aspect that I can mention is that, even though the street is not a main artery, the traffic is still pretty loud and can be heard all through the night. I recommend some ear plugs for light sleepers and all is solved. I used ear plugs and slept like a log.

Great apartment close to the heart of Athens

Pros: The apartment was great - really spacious for 5 people and 2 bathrooms were really useful with 3 teenagers! The property is fully equipped with everything you need. The host was what made it exceptional. She went out of her way to be helpful and generous, leaving us wine, fruit and breakfast things, even ordered a pizza for us when we arrived! She helped organise a late check out for us. Huge thank you to her! Easy walking distance to most things in Athens. Would definitely recommend 😍

Cons: A little bit noisy sometimes

Pros: The host was very friendly and helpful. We were able to check in a bit earlier, which was really convenient. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay.

Pros: We loved everything about our apartment. Marialena is such a lovely woman & went out of her way to make us feel welcome.We had a delicious bottle of wine & fruit & cheese etc waiting for us when we arrived. She advised on where to eat which was perfect.We would not hesitate to recommend staying here. Great location & close to everything. We will be back! Thank you so much Marialena.

Great clean apartment near historical center.

Pros: Very clean and big apartment not far from historical center.
