Athina’s apartment

Convenient base to explore Athens.

Pros: Everything we needed, even a washing machine 😀 Short walk to Aegaleo metro station and then 3 stops to Monastiraki square (Acropolis, Agora etc. in walking distance)

Pros: It's like a good cousin of yours invited you in his/her house. It's a beautiful experience.

A lovely, spacious apartment a minute walk from the Metro

Pros: This is a wonderful place- very spacious, well lit, spotlessly clean, and very pleasant to stay in. It's a minute walk from the Metro which can take you to the city center and the airport. Aleksandra the host is lovely and welcoming, and made me feel at home immediately. The price is less than other apartments in the area- it actually looks as if the host is not in this business for the money but for the joy of making people happy. I think this is why there are so many positive reviews about this place- people just feel a need to share their positive experience.

Cons: The mattress was a little too soft - I prefer the firmer type. Also, the bathroom is a little small with not enough room to put your stuff. But that's really small things in view of the bigger picture. Very important remark - note that the lock on the main door cannot be opened from the outside! so make sure you have the key with you when you go out, otherwise you will be locked outside. Apparently this kind of lock is the norm in many apartments in Athens, so this point is true not just for this one.

Pros: The hosts were very polite and provided us with anything we needed (even breakfast delivered at the door!). The apartment was homey and comfortable, in a great position near the metro station

Cons: I liked everything!

We felt very much at home here. The apartment is incredibly clean and well maintained

Pros: Host was easy to contact and very helpful. They made every aspect of the stay smooth. They had made toiletries, kitchen facilities and laundry facilities (including a small washing line on the balcony) available.

Cons: Single room unfortunately only had a fan whereas the double room had air conditioning. This was not a problem as we slept with the bedroom door open and the lounge aircon cooled things off sufficiently to get a good night's sleep.

Really good comfortable stay.

Pros: In a central position for metro, host very friendly and added lots of extras even delivery breakfast one morning !

Cons: Only heat was through air conditioning and no heating in bathroom could do with the central system being switched on.

Pros: Location is excellent, less than 5 minutes from tube station and only three stops to city centre. There is a lovely square around the corner with bars, shops, pharmacy and a supermarket. The flat is spacious, has all the facilities you could need during a stay, large balcony and air-conditioning. WiFi is good, we were able to watch Netflix in the evening when staying in. The hosts are two sisters and they are both lovely and very welcoming. Athina lives in the building and left us fresh pastry every morning 🙂

Everything was exceptional!

Pros: I usually don´t leave reviews but i had to do it for this apartment. Everything was excellent, the location, only 4 stops from Syntagma square and the metro is only 5 min walk from the apartment. We were greeted by the hosts who were super nice. They left us coffe, tea, water in the fridge, candy bars, juices and every morning they left us koulouri (greek sesame bread) which was very nice of them. The apartment is clean, very well equipped and comfortable. So overall i would definetly recommend it to everyone who is staying in Athens.

Pros: I liked everything and was sad to leave. The apartment had everything your heart could desire. Athinas is the sweetest hostess and gives me rolls or something else every morning.I recommend it to everyone. Great environment and centrally located.The best apartment I've ever had. Thank you very much Athena.
