Beautiful and comfy place, pleasant lady met us, Mario guy was too clingy and annoying

Pros: The property is and cheap to reach from Athens (subway + bus 305, 2.4€ in total). The house is beautifully furnished with old-fashioned furniture, in good taste. Everything was clean and pleasant. The lady that met me to give the keys was very pleasant and positive, we understood the main points even though she didn’t speak English.

Cons: Lack of warm water (I didn’t need it, but just for those who stay for longer than overnight). Mario was extremely clingy and annoying with his ride offers. I told him that I am 100% using the public transport, he wrote me around 4 more messages, decreasing the price with each :/ And when he understood that I’ll come by bus, he started offering to bring us to the airport, and again just trying to decrease the price when I refused. Very unpleasant, a lot of headache responding to him for the entirety of the day while just wanting to stay overnight.

Cosy Environment

Pros: Nice safe Spata neighbourhood close to Athens International Airport

Cons: Nil

This is far from a contemporary place but is 100% a Greek family home.

Pros: Mario and his mother were very kind. This is a spacious apartment. It is well loved and full of curiosities, being a family home.

Cons: The hot water wasn't on so I couldn't have a bath or a shower. There are no kitchen facilities nor kettle nor any drinking water.

great overnight stay

Pros: what just what we needed for overnight stay to go to airport the next day . Mario was very helpful always willing to help

Cons: --

Pros: Comfortable and friendly host. Nice neighbourhood also.

Cons: What I don't like has nothing to do with the accommodation.. But the Greek system of checking out at 11 and checking in after 3pm.. 5 hours is a long time to \

Pros: Le personnel est très accueillant et le logement a été très bien pour nous

Sympa

Pros: La réactivité de Mario et sa maman. Et leurs gentillesse de nous avoir laissé rentrer dans le logement avant l'heure prévue.

Cons: Le bruit du climatiseur, l'appartement est grand mais, bcp trop chargée en déco et pour moi que je suis allergique à la poussière avec tout les tapisseries et déco. J'étais un peu dans le mal Sinon c'était sympa pour une nuit

Pros: Un vrai musée. Mario m'a gentiment proposé ses services pour m'accompagner au loueur de voiture le soir et à l'aéroport le matin.

Cons: L'emplacement. Finalement, maps donne l'aéroport à 12km à pied (injouable ! ) alors qu'à vol d'oiseau ça doit faire 3km. Merci Mario super conducteur.
