Ancient Agora Hideaway

Comfortable, clean, and perfectly located with a very kind host.

Pros: We had a wonderful stay at Ancient Agora Hideaway. The apartment was very comfortable, spotless, and perfectly located in a central area, making it easy to explore the city on foot. A supermarket was only about 150 meters away, and pharmacies were also very close, which was extremely convenient. The owner was exceptionally kind and welcoming. She even offered us an extra cleaning service during our stay and a late check out, which made our experience even more relaxing and thoughtful. Overall, everything was excellent. The only small suggestion would be to add a few more towel hangers in the bathroom.

Pros: At first the location seemed sketchy. But it’s only one block from the historic area and a quick walk to view the Acropolis. We did lots of running in the morning. Was less than 10 minutes to jog to the park.

Lovely stay in a quiet building

Pros: The location of the apartment was great for our stay. Lots of restaurants, cafes and shops within a small radius. The apartment itself was clean, spacious and has a mini kitchen.

Pros: The room was excellent. Little details that made us feel really comfortable. Water in the fridge, coffee machine and enough coffee capsules for our stay. Great communication with the owner. Responded immediately and very polite. Highly recommended..

Great place in a good location, modern, clean with fantastic hosts.

Pros: The apartment was very clean & modern with everything you would need for a great stay. It is very close to metro and bus services and only a 10 min walk (level with no hills) to the tourist centre and all the attractions. Overall a great place to stay in a great location. George & Christina were fantastic and sent all the information we needed to make the stay stress free.

Smart comfy flat close in city centre!

Pros: Practical and well located, close to everything and main attractions by foot. The flat is big, super smart and comfortable. The host provided extra clear instructions for check-in and check-out, and was always accessible and helpful. The shower was amazing. I'd definitely stay again!

Cons: Unfortunately there was a construction on the flat next to it, which made my plans to work from the flat impossible. I understand now this was the reason the price was reasonable. The construction works might take a few more months, so please consider that if you're planning to work from there. It's a commercial building, so some strangers coming and going during the day, but nothing much. A microwave would be useful since there's no oven.

Very central and quiet, safe place .

Pros: My friend and I loved everything about the apartment. It is central , 2 mins away from the metro . There are plenty of shops in the area and within a 10 min walk we used to get to the very heart of all the restaurants but we were very happy in our location because it was central and yet quiet not noisy . The Areopagus and Acropolis are also within a short distance The apartment is very nice , comfortable bed and also the mattress of the sofa bed, it was super comfortable. It had a lovely bathroom with good hot water , lots of points to charge the mobile or whatever need. Living room and bedroom both had blackout curtains so sleep was not disturbed by the light from the big windows. and the owner and staff always ready to help. We loved it.
