Calliope's Neoclassical Home in the heart of Plaka

Pros: Host Calliope and her mother were great, very kind and helpful. Location is nothing short of amazing, everything you need to see is max 15 minute walk away from the apartmant. Also, there were number of restaurants, coffee shops and little shops around it. Apartmant itself was very clean and spacious. I cannot recommend it enough!

Great location

Pros: Great location in the heart of Plaka but a step away from the businessess. The living room was lovely, it was great to have a washing machine as it was very hot. The kitchen was well equipped.

Cons: We found the bedroom cramped and a bit claustrophobic. It would have been nice to have some up to date information about the local area e.g. nearest crocery shop, local map etc. Also, perhaps some milk for a hot drink as we arrived in the evening, and a bottle of water, all the sort of things we provide for our holiday home.

Pros: Very comfortable apartment in heart of Athens, underneath the Acropolis

Best location, clean rooms, with all amenities

Pros: There are many things we liked, but the best of them is the location. It is right in the heart of Plaka. Acropolis is just 10 minutes away (by walk) from the location. There is also a busy market within 100 meters of the apartment.

Cons: Nothing actually, we liked almost everything. But, if I want to do nitpicking, you need to climb a few steps from where the taxi drops you (a bit of inconvenience if you have heavy luggage).

Pros: Very central and within walking distance to all the major attractions and shopping district. Nice facilities in the property

Cons: Noisy at times with people walking outside. The bed was too hard for me, could do with curtain blinds in the bedroom as the street light was bright through the shutters.

Pros: It's a cozy apartment close to one of the nicest churches in the Plaka district. The accommodations are really good, and the location is perfect, as it's situated near nice restaurants and just a short distance from the Acropolis. The beds were comfortable. And the host is wonderful and very helpful.

Gorgeous apartment in an old classic Athens building under the Parthenon.

Pros: I travel several times throughout the year all over Europe and in within Greece where I live. Calliope's far surpasses every place that I have stayed at. I love the kindness of Calliope, the building and the apartment are beautiful. It is very spacious, very clean, and in a perfect location (actually the best location in Athens). I wish anyone that is in search of a perfect place to stay is lucky enough to have the opportunity to stay at Calliope's.

Cons: There was nothing at all that I did not like.

Lovely property in the shade of the Acropolis.

Pros: The property is clean ,comfortable and spacious set in a central location for visiting all the attractions of Athens . Calliope met us and showed us around when we arrived ,emailing later restaurant and attraction directions. There was wine and breakfast waiting for us .

Super property in the heart of Plaka - very comfortable and quiet - friendly host

Pros: Great location in Plaka - close to restaurants, bars and the sites of Athens - but also quiet. Spacious, well equipped and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay
