Sakura Hut opposite the Panathenaic Stadium

Pros: Very good location, big apartment, nice kitchen and facilities.

Cons: Even with blinds down in main bedroom felt a little exposed - could maybe do with darker blinds or curtains? Otherwise was fantastic

Pros: The position is in the center, near the presidential building and big national park. Inside the apartment we found everything we needed and even more, so we felt at home. It was simple but very nice. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, the kitchen with all the needed gadgets is a big plus. In the bathroom there is a washing machine so you can wash everything and leave it on the roof of the building to dry them. Everything was really nice and we enjoyed our holiday in Athens a lot. ☺️❤️

Pros: It had a washer and dryer, with a drying rack, as well as access to clothes lines on the roof, which came in very handy. Cabinets and drawers were labeled well, so it was easy to locate extra toilet paper, etc. Host was very communicative and answered questions in a very timely manner. Lots of restaurants, grocery store and pharmacy all within a few minutes walking distance. Public transportation available nearby, but we were unaware that we had to purchase the tickets for the trolly, bus, etc, ahead of time. You cannot pay at the location near the Apt. Although I brought my own shampoo and shower gel, there was plenty available to us if we wanted. I also appreciated that the shower is in the full bath tub, not a tiny stall that soaks the floor like other rentals we encountered.

Cons: English instructions for the washer would have been helpful. There was no mount for the shower head, so we had to hold the hand shower while using it. Unfortunately, they were doing construction on our street the entire time we were there, so it was difficult to find parking for our rental car, but this is not the fault of the host. Instructions on where to purchase transit tickets would have also been helpful. There was no safe for us to lock up valuables. Also, with the key lock, it's possible that the previous renter could have copied the keys, which I understand has been an issue with some rentals in Athens, however, because this Apt is not directly in a popular tourist area, we felt very safe. In the future, the host may want to consider a pass code lock that the guest can change.

I had a nice stay

Pros: It is a simple property, in a residential building with private apartments. It is located in the basement, which means that it is not very bright. The apartment is clean, with its own kitchen equipped with everything strictly necessary and even more. It is relatively centrally located, which will give you the opportunity to be close to many points of interest in Athens. Although it is close to many specific bars and cafes, the area is very quiet and you can rest properly. I didn't even know the host, who showed a lot of discretion. Check in and check out was done online. I recommend this location. I had a nice stay and I wish you all the best!

Cons: Be careful with the keys because you could lock yourself out from the outside like it happened to me. Even though it was an hour early, I called the intercom and the next door neighbor opened the door for me, to whom I also thank in this way.

Pros: The property was in a fantastic location for us - a little out of a hustle and bustle but close enough to walk to everything. The property really had everything we needed. Details like a toaster, a stove and microwave, a freezer and good fridge, a place to hang washing and extra towels made the stay very comfortable.

Cons: Honestly there wasn’t much we didn’t like!
