The Arcade

Pros: It was just minutes from the Monastiraki Square and a short walk to the Acropolis. Loads of wonderful restaurants and cafes nearby to choose from. The apartment was well set up and very comfortable for us. We very much enjoyed our stay there and it was a perfect place for our family to meet up from different parts of the globe. Thank you for sharing your house with us!

Cons: We had problems getting on to the wifi which didn't seem to extend throughout the house. We left it too late to ask the friendly friend for.help so went out for dinner and didn't worry about it.

Great value for you money

Pros: The location is amazing, and the apartment is huge. Great value for your money.

Cons: There was just a solitary key capable of unlocking either of the doors, while the Wi-Fi suffered from poor signal strength and quality. Additionally, the windows failed to shut completely, and the main door's window latch was deteriorating. Amidst these issues, there was confusion regarding the proper disposal location for trash.

Excellent location, ideal for Athens Marathon

Pros: The host was very helpful and accommodating. The apartment was very cozy with double height ceiling, making it extra spacious. Perfect for families or friends traveling together.

Pros: Very spacious. Super comfy beds. Great location - walking distance to all the major attractions and a variety of restaurants/bars.

Cons: It’s quite loud (street noise) in some of the rooms, even at night. It was not a problem for us, though I guess some of the guests might find it disturbing. Small major bathroom. The second one does not have a comfy access.

Very spacious apartment close to all the attractions. Would highly recommend for a family group.

Pros: It was very spacious and was in walking distance to most of the attractions.

Cons: The upstairs/outside bathroom was fine for us but could be difficult for older people to navigate safely.

Atmospheric apartment in the heart of monastiraki

Pros: The place was very central, large apartment, well air conditioned and felt safe. Loud neighborhood, but was expected

Cons: We only got one key, it was a problem at times, because we were 2 couples. Main bathroom didn’t have great privacy ( but I would definitely stay there again)

Pros: One street away from the main square of Monastiraki, close to shops and restaurants and private - nothing would compare.

Cons: Taking luggage up the stairs.

Pros: The photos are not nearly enough to capture the beauty and energy of this place! I can not wait to stay here again. The hosts are so accommodating and a pleasure to speak with Truly a place in Athens like.no other. So.clean with all the amenities you need. Location is amazing. Houae is so spacious. Lovely apartment in superb location

Pros: Excellent location. Well equipped accommodation, with everything we needed for a week long stay. Beautiful old property in a very busy part of the town, lots of restaurants, cafes and shops around. Very comfortable beds! The host was very helpful and quick to respond to our messages.

Cons: Like with any property with such an excellent central location, the area is very noisy, day and night. There was some loud construction work next door, starting from 6am or earlier. The host supplied some earplugs ,which was helpful but the noise was disruptive to sleep.

Pros: Everything were perfect!! Despoina is a great hostess. Flat is located in the heart of Athens 2min.walk from Ermou Str. highly recommended!!
