The Apartment by Athenaeum Hotels

Perfect location, beautiful apartment, and warm Greek hospitality

Pros: The apartment was amazing: spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. Each bedroom had its own bathroom, toilet, and TV, with all necessary toiletries provided. The breathtaking Acropolis view from every room and the large terrace made our stay truly unforgettable. Drinks and fresh fruit were kindly provided in the apartment, and the warm welcome at reception, with Greek sweets and a glass of orange juice, was a lovely touch (special thanks to the gentleman at the desk!). Perfect location, just a 10‑minute walk from the Acropolis.

Cons: The heating from the air conditioning wasn’t consistent in all rooms, and the apartment faces a lively street, which can be a bit noisy for light sleepers.

A warm welcome awaits you at the Athenaeum

Pros: The three double bedrooms within the apartment are bright, spacious and comfortable - each has a large en-suite modern shower room. The communal seating area with small kitchen provides access to a large outdoor private balcony area with table and chairs to relax around. The Parthenon and temple of Zeus are visible from the patio. The Parthenon looks lovely when lit up at night. Complimentary toiletries are provided as well as plentiful tea/coffee/milk/soft drinks/a fruit basket and a bottle of wine which is much appreciated. The hotel staff are all extremely warm, polite, helpful and friendly. The hotel staff are happy to store suitcases when guests arrive early. They call to let you know when your room/apartment is ready to occupy. The apartment & hotel are well located - within walking distance of the many popular tourist destinations, restaurants, green spaces and shops. The apartment is a perfect place to stay on a visit to Athens.

Cons: The apartment cannot be accessed from the main hotel building. It is on the sixth floor of an apartment block which we hadn't realised when we booked. The entrance to the apartment block is just a few doors away from the hotel entrance. There is a small lift and spiral stair access to the apartment. This did not spoil our enjoyment of the apartment though - it just wasn't what we expected. The hotel staff are happy to receive constructive verbal feedback about a few things that will improve the apartment kitchen facilities.

Pros: We had a fantastic stay at The Apartment by Athenaeum Hotels for three nights in February. The location was absolutely perfect—right in the heart of Athens and close to everything we wanted to see. The apartment itself was ideal for our family (4kids). spacious, comfortable, and well set up for traveling with kids. The breakfast was super good, with plenty of tasty options to start each day off right. On top of that, the staff at the hotel were incredibly helpful and friendly from start to finish, always happy to assist with anything we needed. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would happily stay here again on our next trip to Athens!

Pros: Ubytovanie bolo úžasne. Skvelá lokalita, všade sme sa dostali pešo. Ubytovanie bolo čisté, útulne, dobre vybavené. Komunikácia s ubytovateľom bola bez problémov.

Pros: Ήταν πολύ άνετο και όμορφο.. Εξυπηρετικό το προσωπικό σύγχρονο διαμέρισμα

Cons: Τα κλιματιστικά θέλουν συντήρηση δεν μπορούσε να ζεσταθεί το σπτι. Και στα μπάνιο δεν φεύγει εύκολα το νερό και φυσικά να βγάλουν κανένα κλειδί ακόμα γιατί τρία άτομα δεν γίνετε να είναι με ένα κλειδί.

Φανταστική τοποθεσία, υπέροχη θέα και πολύ όμορφο διαμέρισμα με εξαιρετικό πρωινό.

Pros: Η τοποθεσία ήταν καταπληκτική και η θέα απίστευτη. Πολύ όμορφο διαμέρισμα με φοβερή θέα προς την Ακρόπολη και εξαιρετικό πρωινό. Το προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα!

Cons: Το μόνο αρνητικό είναι ότι η πολυκατοικία στην είσοδο φαίνεται λίγο απεριποίητη.

Apartment with a view

Pros: The location was perfect, the apartment was clean and beutiful, the view was perfect. The staff super helpful and nice. The description and photos very accurate!

Cons: The entrance of the building was weird but nothing to stress about.

Όλα ήταν υπέροχα!

Pros: Επιλέξαμε το συγκεκριμένο διαμέρισμα λόγω τοποθεσίας, διότι ταξιδεύαμε για επαγγελματικούς λόγους. Η εξυπηρέτηση ήταν άριστη, το προσωπικό πολύ ευγενικό και πρόθυμο να βοηθήσει σε ότι και αν χρειαστήκαμε. Η τοποθεσία είναι εξαιρετικά κεντρική με το μουσείο της Ακρόπολης να απέχει 10 λεπτά με τα πόδια. Η αίθουσα του πρωινού με θέα την Ακρόπολη ήταν ο καλύτερος τρόπος να ξεκινάς την ημέρα σου. Το πρωινό ήταν πλήρες. Το διαμέρισμα ήταν πανέμορφο, με όλα τα δωμάτια να έχουν θέα την Ακρόπολη. Πολύ καθαρό και περιποιημένο και εκτιμήσαμε ιδιαίτερα τα κεράσματα.

Cons: Βρίσκεται στον τελευταίο όροφο διπλανής πολυκατοικίας η οποία είναι σχετικά παλιά. Με την είσοδό μας στο κτήριο και βλέποντας το παλιό ασανσέρ, αρχίσαμε να αναρωτιόμαστε για την ποιότητα του καταλύματος. Ωστόσο, μετά την είσοδό μας στο διαμέρισμα αυτό άλλαξε αμέσως.
