ACROPOLIS GATE

Pros: Charming host.Comfortable apartment located at basement level.Steep stairs have to be negotiated to reach the accomodation and 60 stairs to the very spectacular rooftop.Should be no problem for most people but rather difficult for the elderly. Flat is spacious,absolutely clean with all amenities.

Cons: For anyone who has difficulty negotiating stairs this is unfortunately not the ideal choice.

Attention, comfort, location and phenomenal view

Pros: Owner extremely attentive, friendly and concerned about our comfort. In addition to having a very close view of Pathernon in Akropolis, from a private terrace above the building.

Cons: Everything was excellent. There's nothing negative to say. The only comment I could make would be: a little smell of cigarette smoke near the apartment door.

Very convenient location from which to explore Athens.

Pros: Our hosts were very friendly and made lots of great recommendations. They had provisioned the apartment with some drinks, snacks, laundry detergent etc so we didn't have to run immediately to the shops to pick everything up.

Pros: Acropolis Gate accommodation has been the best possible start to our Greek adventure. Its in the perfect location for exploring the major sights of old Athens and Acropolis. The apartment is a cool quiet and comfortable respite from touring the city sights in the hot sun. From local grocery shops to a selection of restaurants everything is close and convenient. The hosts Emilios and Antigori have been considerate and welcoming and have thought of everything right down to a basket of food which we didn’t get through in our 3 day stay. The best part is at the end of the day taking wine olives dips cheese and cold meets up to the roof top to watch dusk descend on the Acropolis, Magic.

A truly unique experience!

Pros: We can’t thank Emilio enough for sharing this absolute gem with us. The property is uniquely located across the Herodion theatre and the Acropolis. It is very cosy, spacious and well equipped, making you feel at home. Emilio’s generosity and helpfulness was apparent from the moment he greeted us at the property, walked us through it and hand us valuable recommendations for the area. The whole city center is within easy walking distance making the property a great place to go in and out as many times as you need to relax if needed. The top floor is absolutely the jewel in the crown! With 3 sofas a chaise and a hammock to choose from, we enjoyed our early morning coffee in a quiet Athens with the birds singing as well as a glass of wine to end our day under the light of breathtaking views of Acropolis Words are hard to describe the feeling! Emilio a heartfelt thank for making our stay such a great memory we will cherish forever!

Pros: Uživali smo. Prekrasan i čist apartman. Prostran i pomno uređen. Nalazi se u suterenu, ali udoban je i ima dosta svijetla i osjećate se sigurno. Parking na slijepoj ulici ispred apartmana. Doslovno ste prvi susjed Partenonu što je nevjerojatno. Možete koristiti terasu s pogledom na Akropolu i čuti glazbu sa šetališta. Na 5 minuta pješice po šetalištu imate do ulaza u Akropolu. Doslovno boravite na pragu povijesti. Impresivno. Domaćin je jako ljubazan, da vam sve informacije i korisne preporuke. Ostavi vam namirnice i vodu dok ne odete u nabavku. Osjetili smo dobrodošlicu i toplinu doma. Sve atrakcije su vam par minuta pješice. A hop on busevi su odlični za dalje relacije.

My best rental ever and I have travelled a lot

Pros: Breakfast was not included in the rental agreement and the owner, Emilio, did leave us so much food to eat.....yogurt, eggs, a full snack basket, coffee, teas, jams, crackers etc....the bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious

Atenas Inesquecível

Pros: Apartamento bonito, decorado com muito bom gosto. A perfeita administração do Emilios e da Antigoni, que se preocupam com o conforto dos hóspedes, fazendo-os sentir-se na sua pripria casa. Fornecem a cozinha já abastecida com uma série de itens alimentícios, inclusive indispensáveis garrafas d'agua, importantíssimo para quem está chegando de viagem. Banheiros também bem abastecidos. Camas e sofás confortaveis. Além disso, o atendimento personalizado, atencioso e afável do casal contribuem para que os hóspedes se sintam muito à vontade. O terraço com a vista deslumbrante do Partenon e do Herodes Atticum é inigualável. Enfim, uma experiência inesquecível.
