Historic Elegance in Acropolis

Superb base for exploring Athens

Pros: Very clean and comfortable apartment. Balcony out towards the street with a view of the acropolis. Nice neighborhood and the road is quiet - sometimes the tour busses use the road and we had fun waving at the people! There is a shop a short distance away ran by some lovely people selling some delicious things. The location is fantastic - The acropolis and museum are a short distance away and Plaka district just a little further on. For quieter atmosphere and the open air cinema there is Thiseio. Also there is Philopappos Hill just behind which has some stunning views from the top - its a relatively easy climb to the top and loads of walking tracks all around - great for running. Altogether I would say this apartment is a brilliant choice for exploring Athens.

Cons: Just some minor things. The picture i think is of the apartment upstairs and has a clearer view of the Acropolis. We did still have a nice view of the Acropolis from our balcony. We couldn't get the air-conditioning to work but that's probably just us!

Pros: Overall we had a really good stay here - this is a good base as the location is fantastic for exploring the city and the neighbourhood is lovely.

Cons: The apartment we were in wasn't as nice as the photos from the listing and the terrace is shared for the building which wasn't clear in the description. The hosts seem to be a bit inexperienced, for example they didn't share the wifi or have this on a note in the apartment, so we had to get onto wifi elsewhere, so that we could message them to ask. Similarly the fuse switches for power for the kitchen and heating were off (which was unusual to us and took us a bit of time to figure out) and there wasn't enough loo roll for our 9 day stay - we had to buy some more on day 3.

Great place to stay, minutes from Acropolis.

Pros: We loved the spaciousness of the flat, the balcony, and the easy walk to the Acropolis. The street was quite busy but the blinds kept out a lot of noise and light. We enjoyed the neighborhood cafes over the crowded, touristy Placka.

Cons: We loved the balcony, and the small corner view of the Odeon and Acropolis, but we imagined the view would be better. We would have appreciated extra towels, as one per person isn't enough for four nights.

Great stay and location can’t be beat.

Pros: We loved the location as it was close to all the things you really want to see and do while in Athens. Also liked the balcony to check out all the action below. All the rooms were very good size and comfortable

Cons: Really only was we could not figure out how to get the AC to work well and never was able to get the place cooled down.

Emplacement idéale , hôte exceptionnelle

Pros: Emplacement idéal ! A quelques minutes à pieds de l’acropole Hôte super et toujours à l écoute

Cons: Ascenseur non fonctionnel! Difficulté à monter les valises

Superbe séjour au pied de l’Acropole !

Pros: L’emplacement est parfait, dans un quartier calme et à quelques pas de l’Acropole, idéal pour explorer la ville à pied ! La terrasse partagée est un vrai atout, offrant une vue magnifique. Un gros +++++ pour les échanges et le service après-vente, qui ont été d’une réactivité et d’une attention remarquables. Tout était top, je recommande à 100 % !

Pros: η τοποθεσια ηταν φοβερη, διπλα στην Ακροπολη, ευκολη προσβαση στο μετρο, ησυχη γειτονια με θεα τον Παρθενωνα.

Cons: Το διαμερισμα δεν ηταν το ιδιο με τις φωτογραφιες, σχεδον πανομοιοτυπο απο αποψη διαταξης των πραγματων μεσα στο καταλυμα αλλα αυτο που νοικιασα ενω περιμενα να ειναι ρετιρε, ηταν τελικα στον 1ο οροφο.
