3BR Petralona Escape

Pros: Loved the very thoughtful and clever interior design. The apparent was clean, very comfortable and most importantly there was excellent water pressure and hot water. I actually really enjoyed the location. As a frequent visitor to Athens I appreciated staying on the opposite side of the Acropolis that I usually stay on. We got to see things that I have never seen before because of it. There were plenty on cafes and restaurants within 5 min walk or a 15min walk into town that was easy enough for my 2, 5 and 8 year old to do. I would love to stay here again.

Spacious apartment, comfy stay

Pros: We spent 5 nights in the flat and enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment is very spacious, easily sleeps 4 adults and 2 kids. All rooms have AC. Bathrooms are large and comfortable, newly renovated. It had all the amenities we needed: kitchen, washing machine, iron, hairdryer, etc. The terrace is great as well. Communication with the host was easy, the keys were in a lockbox, so we didn't have to worry about our plane arriving late. 2 supermarkets, a greengrocers', a bakery are all in a 2-minute walk from the apartment which is very convenient. You live among the locals here. The more touristy areas are a 15-minute walk from the apartment.

Cons: The road below is quite busy and noisy, and sometimes you can hear the neighbours. That's why I travel with earplugs, they make these issues go away :)
