Acropolis Veranda by YHA

Pros: The place is in the middle of everything. All walking distance to places of interest to visit, metro, bus station, and restaurants popular due to good reviews. We were able to check in early, as the house was available early. Communication to the house agent is brilliant, quick reply and helpful.

Cons: The place/ their office where we leave our luggage is a good few minutes walk ( in a cobbled sidewalk/ street) is quite challenging, from the house. The property was not easy to find, at day light so could u imagine arriving at night😁 Mouldy shower curtain. 1 bedroom door not closing as the bed in it is too big. All just small issues.

Perfect for a short stay for a great of people. Excellent facilities and great location for seeing the sights of Athens

Pros: Excellent location with amazing view of The Acropolis. Easy access to transport, and central stations. Very clean and everything was well organised; great communication from host.

Pros: Wonderfull place in Athens with probably the best view of Akropolis hill. not one but two balconies, fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms and 3 bedrooms, private parking place under the apartment, look no more, this is the place to stay when exploring Athens. will gladly come back in the future and highly recommend this amazing apartment. 11 out of 10 :)

Pros: Location, size of apartment, balconies and view of Acropolis. It had everything we needed.

Pros: The balcony had an amazing view of the acropolis and the location of the apartment was so close to the centre. Everything was in walking distance. Lots of space in the apartment and very clean.

Cons: The shower wasn’t great. It only had cold water and you had to hold the shower head in order to shower (it was not fixed to the wall)

Great property just on the fringe of central Athens.

Pros: Good location, few minutes walk to the nearest metro station (Siggrou-Fix) - although also walkable into Plaka and central Athens. Fourth floor but with a lift for great easy access with suitcases. Beautiful views of the acropolis, especially if you climb to the rooftop. Well equipped kitchen, and air-conditioning throughout the house. Spacious living space. Hosts were easy to communicate with via Booking messaging system and were responsive and helpful.

Cons: Wasn't able to check in early and weren't offered to store luggage on arrival at 9am. Were told that they could only store it from 11 - not great with 6 people and 4 suitcases. Upon departure - we were offered luggage storage, but not at the property, but rather at the property manager's office - about 15-20 minute walk away up the road. Again, not the easiest on a hot hot morning with kids!

Nice stay to visit Athens

Pros: 1.) Walkable from/to Syntagma Square (~25 minutes) 2.) Location with lots of restaurants 3.) View to Acropolis 4.) Late check-out was granted

Cons: 1.) A/C was broken in one room and the promise from rental office to fix it was not kept. 2.) No light in another room. 3.) Heater for hot water was powered off and no information provided until rental office was contacted. ~20 minutes waiting time required until one gets (partially) hot water.

Pros: The view of the Acropolis was amazing! There are two balconies to spread out and relax. There are two toilets which was great. The apartment was very clean and roomy. Very convenient to the Sygrou Fix metro and shops. It's a 20m walk to the museum and Acropolis. Parking space for car. Great location to hire a car.

Cons: If you are not use to traffic noise, then you may be annoyed.
