I would highly recommend staying in the beautiful Bill!

Pros: I stayed in Bill for a whole month and was very satisfied. The apartment was beautiful and aesthetically pleasing. It was incredibly quiet, no noise from outside. I was able to work from home and take zoom calls all day with the strong wifi. The neighborhood isn't the most pleasant in Athens, but it's so close to the Metaxourgeiou and Omonia stations, and a 10-25 minute walk to everything in the city center. And I never felt unsafe. The apartment came equipped with everything I needed—so nice having a dishwasher, an orange juicer, and a full working oven/stove. The laundry machines in the building were perfect. And the hosts were very kind and responsive.

Cons: A small thing, but the shower needs a glass door or some kind of curtain installed—it sprays water all over the bathroom ground. At least the hosts should provide a squeegee. Finally, all of my Athenian friends were shocked by the price I paid. While the price for the month may be compratively affordable in the US, for Athens it is considered shockingly high. I was quite satisfied, and I thought I found the best price, especially for all the conveniences and beautiful interior. But for the location especially, the price is considered high. Tha said, I found it incredibly worth the price personally, and I would certainly come stay here again! Thank you Homestory :)

Hermoso departamento! (La ubicación es para valientes)

Pros: El departamento tiene mucha personalidad y comodidad, una mezcla de modernidad con vintage, aire acondicionado, lavaplatos y lavarropas, buena conexión a internet, y además es muy luminoso.

Cons: La ubicación, si bien no es lejos del centro y tiene acceso cercano al metro, es en un barrio poco seguro, que hace difícil salir de noche aunque sea unas pocas cuadras para comprar algo.
