Pros: The apartment is close to the airport, very nice and clean. Good coffee and water were waiting for me on arrival. The host was very kind and helpful and stayed in touch with me the whole time. He even ordered a taxi for me at short notice, even though it was 7 a.m. on a Saturday. I’m very satisfied with my stay and would highly recommend it. 😊

Pros: I liked this cosy apartment, not too far from the airport, suitable for overnight stays during long stopovers at Athens Airport. The host communicated effectively and arranged a taxi for our ride early in the morning.

Cons: The bedroom could of course be cleaner. For example, the sheets and linens could be replaced and maintained more actively. Also, the apartment is not really close to the airport. My understanding is it is about 15 kilometeres by car. However, as the airport has no residential neighbourhoods that we were aware of, this was still a good option.

Excellent Accomodation, so comfortable, convenient, extremely affordable and lovely hot shower.

Pros: Everything! It was comfortable, accessible from the street on ground level. Convenient to get to the airport early morning.

Pros: John arranged transportation from and to the airport on zero notice when I ran into a major problem on the night of my arrival. The room is on the ground level, so no schlepping of luggage. A bonus!

Good value place to stay if you need proximity to the airport.

Pros: The place was clean and comfortable. We chose the apartment for one night only for its proximity to the airport for an early morning flight. Taxi ride to the airport was about 14 minutes and cost 25 euros and the host helped me book the ride. There was a supermarket next door and there were some nice restaurants about 5 minutes walk away. We had an enjoyable meal in the village square at a reasonably priced taverna. Overall, this met our specific needs very well.

Cons: The apartment had limited cooking facilities (microwave and toasted sandwich maker) and limited numbers of plates, cups etc. We decided to eat out for dinner and get breakfast at the airport so didn't do any cooking in he flat. We travelled to the apartment by public transport from the centre of Athens, first using the metro and then a straightforward bus connection. Overall, it took an hour and 40 minutes with the alternative being a taxi ride that would have taken around an hour, due to rush hour, and been a different order of cost.

Great overnight stop

Pros: Spacious apartment with everything you need. Virtually on the main high street with plenty of shops and eating options.

Cons: Although it's close to the airport, Uber charges 25-30 euro for the journey, because the drivers won't pick up for a smaller fare. We challenged this with the driver and complained to Uber to get a reduced rate of 18 euro.

Pros: Very clean space, air conditioner worked great, overall quiet area. Enjoyed the water and juice that was provided in the fridge. Wifi was great and staff were very helpful.

Cons: The hair dryer cord was too short, and there were no outlets in the bathroom. No washcloth provided.

Affordable and close to the airport- perfect for solo traveler needing a bed before a flight.

Pros: I booked very late and John was very helpful with directions etc. It was on a bus route and convenience store which was also very helpful.

Cons: Nothing - it was what it says it was.
