Great hostel

Pros: An all round pleasant stay. I've stayed once before

Cons: I can't find any real fault with Baloo. I would certainly stay again.

Great value, recommended!

Pros: Welcoming staff, social room with activities, clean, good services. Ok location, not in the very center, but not far to walk to metro/bus stops.

Cons: Some other guest kept turning the heating up to overly hot temperatures (27-30 °C), had troubles trying to sleep even half naked... Go to Bali if you want tropical weather!

Pros: The hostel is beautiful,the vibes , the atmosphere,and the living room .Beds are comfortable and very clean .I had a peaceful sleep .Ooh and the ladies at reception,both very kind and lovely !

Cons: Showers were a little cheap and cramped and it would be nice to have an inside common area.

The cosiest jungle you’ll want to spend your days at.

Pros: The best hostel I’ve ever stayed at! Super cozy and beautiful common area with the kitchen, which is really well equipped (I really appreciated the selection of loose teas available all day :), cereal and fruit and coffee for breakfast was also nice :) The colours, wooden materials and artsy decorations made me feel instantly at home and happy to socialize there. Spacious bedrooms with great showers and separate toilets, wide selection of board games to play, cute patio in the back to hang out among so many plants! The girls at the reception were all amazing and incredibly kind and helpful, especially Aliki, Georgia and Basia :)) All the other guests were fantastic too, we instantly bonded in this wonderful hostel, which made my stay unforgettable, thank you! i will definitely return on my next stay in Athens, couldn’t love it more.

A true gem in Athens!

Pros: Baloo Hostel is truly a gem in Athens! The whole place is designed with so much love and attention to detail – it feels both stylish and cozy at the same time. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel instantly at home; they’re not only incredibly helpful but also some of the kindest, loveliest people you’ll meet. The location is great for exploring Athens. At first glance, the neighborhood might seem a little rough around the edges, but I never once felt unsafe – in fact, it added to the authentic local vibe. What makes Baloo even more special is the great program and activities they offer, which make it so easy to meet people and feel part of a community. It’s the kind of hostel you arrive at as a traveler and leave as a friend. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Athens – you’ll feel welcomed, inspired, and right at home.

great hostel of the bunch, transfered to this one

Pros: Very nice, clean, fresh air, new, comfortable, friendly. Good size storage, can even lock the bed like a cage. Better than another hostel that i put up with for 3 nights in unbearable heat and lack of air. This hostel room had air and was very comfortable. nice view from the room - see pics

Cons: that i didn't come here earlier and put up with another hostel that was apparently rated highly.. Toilet was tiny, my arm hits the sink. someone 100kg+ or 6\
