Pros: It was a clean central place with a plentiful breakfast . People seem very nice and friendly even it is more popular with women as it is with men. Recommend.

Cons: Nothing, did I mention there is a supermarket right outside?

A standard to be followed

Pros: As a frequent and eclectic traveler who stays in both 5-star resorts (for work...) and hostels, as well as all the options in between, I have to say that the location is impeccable. Metro, good restaurants and the Acropolis are all less than 5 or 10 minutes away on a leisurely walk. The breakfast is also very good. A perfect package and, best of all, the attentive and extremely proactive staff is the highlight. A standard to be followed by all hostels.

Pros: It was a very nice experience for me. The room and the communal area were always clean and the lobby was always chill and cozy. It’s got the best location ever! Literally close to every icon of Athens!

Overall, it’s a great place to stay in an amazing location.

Pros: Accommodation in a great location, everything is within walking distance of almost everything. The check-in process was smooth – you receive a code for both the main entrance and your room door. The breakfast was more than sufficient as well. They can also lend you a towel.

Cons: I would prefer breakfast to be served a bit earlier in the morning, because if you want to go on a trip or have an early flight, you don’t have time to wait until 8 a.m. The room was very warm – even in February we had to sleep with the balcony door open. It’s also necessary to bring your own lock for the locker. There is no kitchen that might be problem for some.

Great choice

Pros: I've stayed before and would certainly stay again. The shower is fab and was most welcome. The breakfast is really good. Bed comfortable. It's virtually faultless

Cons: The place is great. Just a couple of odd guests but that's hostel life.

Pros: The location is great! So close to the Acropolis and to some tourist attractions like Athens Parliament Building, Olympics Stadium, etc. The metro is just a few steps away from the hostel, just right outside of it. How cool is that! And that makes it easy to go to the other tourist attractions like National Archeological Museum. And to the airport as well.

Cons: Nothing to complain about. Thank you Athens Backpackers Hostel.

Pros: Centric location, helpful staff, flexibility in leaving your bags and chilling in the lobby after checkout. Good for the price and convenient for location. Basic but nice breakfast

Cons: The facilities are quite good but there are different details, such as holes in the ceiling with tubes, instant very hot water that literally burns the skin, no mirror in the room, some nights were very cold and others too hot, impossibility to control the temperature yourself, it gets changed by reception, small light inside the bed ceiling is not practical and blinds you directly in the face, there could be some shelves and at least a chair in the room.
