Metropolis Hotel

Pros: I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, simple, and absolutely fair for the price paid. Everything was well maintained and comfortable. The young gentleman at reception when I arrived was extremely polite and welcoming. When I checked out, the gentleman at the front desk was also very kind and helpful, and he kept my backpack safely until I needed it. Both of them made a very positive impression. The highlight of my stay was the unbelievable view of the Acropolis from the room. Waking up and seeing the Parthenon from my window was truly special. Clean, honest rooms, excellent location, and very friendly staff. I would definitely stay here again.

Great hotel for short visit of Athens

Pros: Perfect location. Next to main shopping street, close to flee market, restorants, tavernas and main Athens historic buildings

Cons: Nothing. Everything is great

Pros: Very helpful staff, they let me charge my phone and to leave the bags after and before check-in, I recommend.

Great city centre hotel

Pros: Excellent location, very close to Syntagma Square and Monastiraki Square, walking distance to all main amenities. Bars and restaurants very close by. Hotel was very comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. Lovely balcony with morning/afternoon sun. Excellent shower!!

Cons: Not a lot of room to move around the bed and the hourly chimes from the church outside!

Pros: We loved this place. The location is amazing, the staff are really friendly and helpful, the family room was wonderful with a huge balcony and Acropolis views. We would stay here again.

Pros: view was spectacular. Noisy in the early hours of the morning due to traffic below and site excavations

Pros: Location right in centre but a green space. Value for money breakfast on roof terrace with Akropolis view. New towels and bed made daily. 24 hr reception. Lift to all floors except roof.Air-con.Modern and fresh looking.

Cons: Cathedral clock chiming all night.Room was an adequate size,not generous.

Pros: Awesome location, if you get an Acropolis view room , you can’t go wrong Owner is helpful, helped us with some issues we had with our luggage . It’s always our first stop in Athens to get us into the Greek Spirit

Cons: The property has limited features but the location and view makes up for it twofold

Had an excellent stay at Metropolis Hotel, am a solo travel so tiny room wasn’t a problem.

Pros: Fabulous location and friendly helpful staff. The view from my room was sensational.

Cons: Couldn’t leave aircon on when away from room as key card needed to activate electricity, consequently room was hot when returning to it and also fridge didn’t work without key card being in place, so things in fridge didn’t stay cold.

Pros: We stayed on our was back from Naxos. The hotel has a great location and comfy rooms. The views are also amazing.
