We had a great time in a lovely apartment.
Pros: Wonderful location, very close walking distance to the sites. Lovely apartment for our family of 5. Clean towels provided every day and we were grateful for the washing machine. Good kitchen facilities. Lovely bakery at ground floor of the building. We had a lovely stay here.
Cons: Small things which could be improved- There wasn’t a clothes dryer, or a clothes rack, which made drying the clothes challenging. The front door to the building needs fixing, it was hard to open until we found the knack, and was very noisy/squeaky and we could hear it all night and early hours of the morning when bakery staff below started work.

Excellent. I’ll book this place again
Pros: Extremely quite safe area for a women to stay and travel . The ladies at the reception desks were so helpful and kind. Gave me travel tips. Since I was a solo traveller they upgraded my room as previously booked for a family with a cot. The rooms were nice and clean. Daily cleaning and changing of bedding and linen.
Cons: As stated above. Supermarket and bakery is next to hotel was convenient . Easy bus route. Streets was quite so was able to sleep well. Well lit streets so safe to travel in the night

Pros: The location is not far from the Thissio metro station and the entrance to the Ancient Agora, both about 700m away. There are several restaurants on the Irakleidon street close by, and a superb bakery (Thiseio Bakery) directly opposite the hotel - great for sandwiches at lunch time, and a couple of small supermarkets, one right next to the hotel. Our room had a small balcony overlooking the street where we could sit and watch the world go by. The terrace on top of the hotel had plenty of seating (in late October, when no one else sat out with us) - it was useful as it was unpredictable when our room would be cleaned, usually some time in the afternoon. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, and on our first night gave us a very good recommendation for a taverna for a meal after our late arrival.
Cons: There are two bus stops beside each other outside the hotel but they serve the same bus line in both directions. We ended up on the bus going the wrong way, away from the centre of Athens, when it arrived just after the scheduled time for the bus we had planned to take. I hadn't realised that we had booked without breakfast (I normally always book breakfast included) so ended up paying extra for breakfast. If I'd known earlier, I would have bought breakfast in the bakery, as the breakfast, though OK, was more expensive than it was worth.

A great, affordable option for a stay in Athens
Pros: The location was fabulous, pretty close to the Acropolis, plus we had a supermarket directly across the road from our accommodation, and a lovely little pastry shop just a few doors down, which meant breakfast was very easy. The lady who checked us in gave us a great dinner recommendation. The room was cleaned daily, and was done very well.
Cons: The stairs leading up to our apartment were a bit scary (definitely wouldn't pass standards in Australia!), but there was a lift as an alternative.

Comfortable and clean hotel in the best part of Athens!
Pros: Excellent location, very close to the Acropolis and the pedestrian area that surrounds the Acropolis. The hotel was clean, comfortable, with friendly staff and a comprehensive breakfast. I appreciate that the staff made an effort to provide gluten-free food for breakfast upon request.
