Pros: The hotel is in a fantastic location. The staff are very kind and attentive to details, which makes the entire stay truly pleasant. The room was impeccably clean. Breakfast was very nice. The view of the Acropolis from the terrace is breathtaking. We truly enjoyed our stay in Athens, and our experience at this hotel contributed greatly to making it so memorable.

Cons: Nothing worth mentioning.

Pros: Upgraded to Herodion Hotel (4 stars) Perfect location : near main historical sites (Acropolis, Acropolis Museum ...) and a lot of restaurant options nearby ; great breakfast

Pleasant stay overall!

Pros: Very good customer service from Ilias. Both my husband and I were made to feel very welcomed and comfortable during our stay.

Cons: Unfortunately, the bathroom/toilet had a terrible odour which proved to be difficult during the initial days of our stay. We were kindly given a new room during the second half of our stay. My recommendation would be to have air fresheners in the bathrooms as there is no ventilation in these.

Pros: Kind personal. Very good breakfast and great view of the acropolis. Very flexible about check out time and check in time, will also store baggage if you came early. Great location walking distance from lot of great attractions.

Philippos is the only hotel to stay in when you visit Athens! 11/10.

Pros: Wonderful welcoming hotel from arrival in the early hours to help on departure. Our room on the 5th floor was beautifully appointed with large terrace and stunning view of Acropolis. Comfortable beds, room serviced daily, such friendly staff. And super bathroom with a bath, unusual for Greece. Breakfast was delicious with savoury and sweet options. The hotel is in a perfect safe location for metro, museums, restaurants (and the best coffee and cakes at Alchemist nearby). Cannot emphasise enough our enthusiasm for this lovely hotel.

Pros: The hotel was so central to everything. We had a stunning view from our balcony looking up to The Acropolis. A very short walk to the Acropolis, the Museum and to the metro station. Plaka just a 10 minute walk through the beautiful market streets. If available book the small room with Acropolis view, the balcony is huge, it has sun loungers and a table and chairs, it's completely private. It would be perfect if the weather was warm, we still managed to take advantage even though it was winter.

Cons: Honestly there is nothing negative to say about our stay.
