Elite Hotel

Pros: Clean bed and bathroom, very nice and helpfull stuff

Cons: Location wasn't ideal

Pros: Perfect location. 2 minute walk to Omonia metro station. Walking distance of about 15 minutes max. to Syntagma square and Monasteraki as well. Friendly staff. Moderate size single room with a fridge, built-in cupboard, private bath, and a working space (a desk and a chair). Lots of plugs for charging. A balcony, back side view though.

Cons: Hot water in the bathroom was hardly warm , and other times it was compeletely cold no matter how long you keep it running for.

Hard-boiled

Pros: An interesting downtown hotel with a hard-boiled atmosphere. A conscientious hotel with good service. Unfortunately, in the Plaka district, or rather in Athens, there are some hotels that collude with cab drivers and take profits from them, but this hotel does a good job and is free from such corrupt ethics.The location of the hotel is in Omonia, so your evaluation will depend on whether or not you can accept the feeling of abandonment, but this is a pleasant hotel. It is not a luxury hotel, of course, but it is solid.

Cons: If you choose a room with no outside light, it is very dark, so the city side is better.

Perfect Stay

Pros: The Elite Hotel is in a perfect location; just 3 minute walk to Omonia metro station. The room is very clean. The receptionist, Mr Gewrgios Armatas is one of the best. He helped me a lot as my passport and all my money were stolen on the same day of arrival. He assisted me a lot, he called the police for me to tell me what to do next. He even gave me some money to buy food until one of my friends sent me some money on his own account. Mr Gewrgios went all the way to the nearest ATM to withdraw the money and gave it to me. Also, Mr Costas, the other receptionist, was great as well. He helped me to print -for free- some of the documents required to issue the travel document to go back to my country. Honestly both of them were super. Thanks a million Mr Gewrgios and Mr Costas. Definitely I'll stay in Elite Hotel every time I come to Athens.

A DECENT CHOICE OF ACCOMODATION IN ATHENS CENTRE AT A REASONABLE PRICE!

Pros: NEW FRIDGE,A/C UNIT FOR HEATING,HOT WATER,DAILY CLEANING,CHANGE OF TOWELS AND SHEETS,FREE SOAP-SHAMPOO,BEDS WITHOUT ANY BEDBUGS!

Cons: I 'VE STAYED A LOT OF TIMES AT THIS HOTEL,SINCE JUNE 2013.THERE WASN'T AT ALL ANY DOOR IN THE ROOM'S WARDROBE.NO TV SET.

Good

Pros: Very close to the city centre, very warm personnel

Cons: Some bad smell from the bathroom

Pros: No bells and whistles but you get what you pay for. We only needed to stay one night and I think that was enough. Had the very basic essentials.

Cons: In a very dicey bit of town and didn't feel safe with a family to travel outside after dark

Pros: Excellent for the price, with all necessary for 1 night.
