VILLA ELENI

Loved every minute!

Pros: We loved staying at Villa Eleni with our very large (extended) family! Owners were extremely helpful and always available. We were greeted with bread, cereals and other simple treats and drinks to start our stay which was extremely helpful and appreciated! They were on hand to clean and maintain the property when needed. Villa was beyond full with everything we could ever need during our stay- there was never a moment of \

Cons: For some reason, you can not find the Villa on Google maps and you can't send a pin when you're there also, so it was extremely hard to find in the beginning of our stay. We had to annotate a 'how to' for taxis and food delivery drivers when it came to giving out the address and describing how to reach the Villa. This is not the Villa's fault at all, it's just a Google Maps issue.

Stunning pool and garden, gorgeous views. Spacious - a special place! 3 bed. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Pros: The pool is fabulous, the garden lovely and very thoughtfully arranged with tables and shade provided all around the garden. The house is great lots of downstairs room - open plan with a good sized and well supplied kitchen. There are 2 bedrooms on the first floor with 1 shower room. And an office area. There is one bedroom and bathroom on the 2nd floor. The host was very kind and supplied items for the baby and provided a great care package to get us through our late arrival.

Cons: Only negative is it is quite high in the hills but worth it for the views. The walk down to beach and local hotels is steep but not too long. We didn’t hire a car and sometimes had to wait to get an uber. Local taxis will give their cards and are worth using. There is parking for 3 hire cars. There are steps and it is steep but we managed with an 88yr old. I forgot to arrange access on arrival - do sort that before arriving!

Spacious house, lovely pool and beautiful sunset

Pros: Was there for 5 days with a toddler and was perfect. The pool area was perfect with a mixture of shaded area and sun. The sunset was beautiful and the bedrooms very comfy. House was spacious

Cons: It’s not a negative but more an FYI, you can’t walk to the beach with kids as very steep hill but was fine for us as can easily drive to them

Amazing!

Pros: We had amazing time here. The villa has everything necessary for a great holiday. It can host a large family and has great location: it takes only 10 minutes on foot to the nearest beach. The house is well equipped, has air conditioners in every room and great Wi-Fi for remote work. The pool in the backyard is good. The host is very friendly, always quickly answered to all of our questions.

Pros: Location, pool, amazing view of the sea and horizon, lots of outdoor seating areas, bbq area by the pool as well as front of property and very spacious which was great. The host was amazing in that we were given complete privacy during our stay with no one else living or staying at the property- which is a rarity these days…and very much appreciated if you value your privacy.

Cons: Not much to complain about as we would def be back so that should say a lot. It’d be a dishonest review not to mention the following minor issues. I.e. mosquito marks on walls and ceilings, stain marks on the canopy of main bed and the main sofa in living room was worn out with the throw put in its place a little stained. That said, nothing a decent wash wouldn’t have sorted out I don’t think. Some exposed wiring where lighting fixtures were/may have been removed and a lack of wall pictures/art made it feel a little cold/unfinished.

Perfect for families with the big garden and swimming pool

Pros: Family friendly with any appliance you can think of.

Cons: There were a lot of mosquitos but it's expected due to the garden and swimming pool.

clean.fantastic.host was brilliant

Pros: the host viv has really gone above and beyond with the villa. u wanted for nothing from making sure u had water and bread for next day if u turned up on a late flight to every bathroom having toiletries. so u never needed to make those pesky shopping trips or spend too much at the airport, she covered every base which is fantastic.

Cons: I honestly liked everything

Pros: The villa is spacious and clean. The kitchen is very well equipped. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Although the weather was cold, we tried the pool and it was lovely.

Cons: Mosquitos
