A beautiful stay in the heart of Athens
Pros: Beautiful home in the most central area of Athens. Very comfortable and had all amenities that were needed. 6 mins walk to 2 different metro lines, 15 min to the Acropolis, Ancient Agora. 5 mins walk to the Roman Forum or Hadrian's Library. Everything was in walking distance including supermarkets, bars and restaurants. The house is beautifully decorated and was perfect for gathering around the table in the living room for chats before heading out.
Cons: A couple things need updating as would expect from an older house but nothing that affected our stay (loose bathroom fittings, bulbs not working). The bedrooms facing out onto the main street had noise coming in so bring ear plugs.

Pros: Location is as perfect as you can get in central Athens. Right in the heart of Plaka and within walking distance of the commercial center as well as Metro stations. The place is excellent, well stocked and if you dare bring a car \

Spacious and comfortable home in a great location.
Pros: Easy code lock box available for check-in. Host was very responsive and helpful. Arranged transportation from the airport and provided a helpful list of places to eat and things to do around the area. Charming and spacious home. Comfortable beds and nice shower. The complimentary wine was very thoughtful. Perfect location in Plaka next to restaurants and attractions. Overall a great stay.

Perfect place to stay in Athens right in the Plaka, walking distance to everything!!
Pros: Ideal location, stacks of room, all the facilities you need !!
Cons: Nothing really, maybe the bed a bit hard but other than that it was perfect

Fantastic location!
Pros: Location fabulous and very good contact with the host before and during the stay. Villa was spacious and clean with a nice little patio and airco around the house. Liked the Nespresso machine and all amenities. The location is right in the middle of Plaka and is close to all major attractions, stores and countless restaurants.
Cons: House was very noisy. Not so much from the outside but ‘echoey’ on the inside. Bring earplugs! One of the bedrooms is sort of pass through from attic to rest of the house and toilets which is not ideal. Bathrooms were small and unfortunately flushing toiletpaper is not allowed which is quite normal in some places in Greece but feels awkward.

Perfect location in the vibrant area of Plaka, and lovely accommodation
Pros: Our host was waiting for our arrival. The property is located in the heart of Plaka; with restaurants, shopping and historical sites at your doorstep. A vibey and fun area; but no noise from the outside could be heard inside. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were clean. A quick 8 min walk from Monastiraki metro station. We were allowed to keep our bags at the property until we had to go to the airport (late night flight).

Clean and spacious property in an amazing location
Pros: Amazing location in Plaka. The property was exactly like it looks in the pictures. We were a family group of six and loved how much space we had. As others have noted, the top floor room is accessed by stairs in one of the double rooms, which worked fine for us (we had one of the kids in that top floor space). Communication with the property was excellent. They were extremely responsive and had someone come by when we had trouble figuring out the nespresso machine. They were also very accommodating with letting us leave luggage after we checked out. We loved our stay at Athenian Niche and would definitely use it again anytime we were in Athens.
