Irene's Beauty in Koukaki

Cozy place in a nice and quiet neighbourhood

Pros: Cozy little place in a quiet neighbourhood! Clean and comfortable, good facilities around and strategic position to visit the city!

Pros: The room was very clean and well maintained. It had a private bathroom, and there was plenty of hot water, so I could enjoy a comfortable shower. Whenever I had a problem, the owner was very helpful and supported me by phone, which I really appreciated. The location was also convenient, as it was relatively close to major sights such as the Parthenon. I also followed the owner’s recommendation and ate at a nearby Greek restaurant. I had chicken and pork, and both were incredibly tender, juicy, and absolutely delicious. The prices were very reasonable and felt like local prices rather than tourist-oriented ones.

Pros: The location is excellent. Super quiet, next to most of shops, supermarkets, restaurants, and attractions. Very easy to get the public transport and the sightseeing busses from any company. Very reasonable distance to Acropolis entrance.

Cons: Be aware, it's almost impossible to find car park around, if you're driving, I don't recommend this accommodation. You'll need to turn on/off the hot water cylinder (boiler) before shower. It's not a problem, just need to keep it in mind.

❤️ Koukaki!

Pros: The location is amazing! Not only is Koukaki a really cool suburb, it is walking distance to everything - all the major sights. The area is safe and the extra handy is that there is a pharmacy next door, Vodafone down the road to get a SIM card and a supermarket. John was extremely helpful and prompt and gave heaps of information.

Cons: The shower is small which was fine for us but some larger people may struggle to fit! Other than that amazing. ❤️

Great for a short stay

Pros: John, the host, was very helpful! This place doesn't have a view from the balcony, but inside it has everything you need - a fully equipped kitchen and a washing machine.

Pros: The location was perfect and John very nice and helpful.

A fantastic cosy home for the night

Pros: It was really cozy but had all the amenities we needed. And it was really close to the train station and a couple of bus stops

Nice stay for one night

Pros: The location of the hotel was good and not far from the city centre. The room was clean and the self-checkin worked out very well. The communication with the owner was also very good, before and during our stay.

Cons: The key that let us into the building was a pain and it took ages to be able to open the entrance door.

Comfortable stay in Athens

Pros: We liked everything about this apartment. Our self check in was very easy, the apartment is centrally located, small but it has everything you might need, extremely comfortable and clean, easy access to downtown because very close to metro station and most importantly our host was very kind and very helpful. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back and stay here again 🍀🧿

Cons: Nothing to dislike.

Nice location

Pros: The property it’s as shown in the pictures. It is in great location walking distance to the historic sites. Well maintained and clean.

Cons: The building entrance door is very difficult to open; the key seems a bit loose, and it took us a while to open it. The apartment has a washing machine, and it would be great if they provided a clothesline. I felt strange using a doona without a cover.
