Quiet, comfortable, spacious

Pros: Incredible location ! Wonderful flat - even larger than it looked on the photos, with a wrap around balcony around the whole apartment. The flat was full of life and light. Leon left us some treats on arrival and even a special treat in the city. It’s a very trendy area, 10 minute walk to the acropolis and really quiet. Some people mention construction noise on the review but we weren’t bothered by anything and had great nights sleep. Will be coming back if visiting Athens! Thank you so much!

Wonderfully Chic Apartment in BoHo Koukaki

Pros: A truly wonderful property in the heart of BoHo, chic Koukaki. This chic and carefully renovated apartment is super spacious and very homely. I could easily have moved in! The kitchen is very well equippped, although lacks worktop space, but this is a minor issue. A real treat having a super comfy seperate lounge area and proper dining room and a big TV. The bed was super comfortable with good pillows. The balcony is very spacious and would be certainly wonderful during warmer months to watch the world below pass by. A real gem of a find and I would definitely consider staying here again barr a couple of issues mentioned below.

Cons: The biggest 'let down' was being rudely woken at 07:30 in the morning by the loud and relentless jackhammering and drilling from the major construction going on at the adjacent building that woke me from what was a truly lovely slumber. It's a big construction project so cannot see this being resolved any time soon. There should be something mentioned to pre-warn guests of this. A couple of other small 'issues'.! For such a spacious apartment a washing machine would be a real bonus. Not that I needed one, but it has everything except, so it seems a shame that one isn't installed. Whilst the apartment has been thoughtfully renovated / decorated, it's only downfall is in the bathroom. The bath is old and severely stained / marked and some of the tiles need eithe deep cleaning, replacing / regrouting. I'm not sure why the old bath has been retained instead of a modern shower being installed when the rest of the bathroom has been updated. Also the shower curtain is impractical - too long / heavy which means it doesn't dry between uses.

Pros: This place is even better than the pictures. It's clean, spacious, good bed, good water pressure with good water heating. The location is perfect. I highly recommend this place and I would stay here again.

Pros: The apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated and a pleasant atmosphere. Wooden floors, bright spaces, and thoughtfully designed interior. The location is excellent, very close to the metro and all major Athens attractions, perfect for exploring the city on foot. Leon, the host, was very welcoming!

Pros: The location is great if you like exploring the neighbourhood like we do. Supermarkets, bakeries, cafes, restaurants all closely. Two metro stations within walking distance. The main tourist attractions also within walking distance. Very attentive host and nice apartment.

Staying here made a big difference to our enjoyment of the city - would stay here again for sure!

Pros: We absolutely loved our stay here! The apartment is in an excellent location—set in a very trendy area with plenty of great food options, and just a short walk to the Acropolis, Plaka, and the city center. The building feels very secure, and the apartment itself is incredibly spacious, with two living areas, two bedrooms (one with a double bed and one with a single), and a large wrap-around balcony perfect for relaxing. The thoughtful touches really stood out: we were welcomed with treats and a very handy city guide, which was incredibly useful during our visit. The apartment was spotless and beautifully styled, making it feel like a true home away from home. The host clearly cares about his guests—when we accidentally left some belongings behind, he immediately reached out to help.

Cons: The only small drawback was that the cot didn’t have a very firm base, so our sleep wasn’t quite as restful as it could have been—but this was a very minor issue compared to how wonderful everything else was.

Perfect little pad in the heart of Athens

Pros: Great location in one of the trendiest neighbourhoods in Athens. Walking distance to great restaurants and bars and the acropolis and tourist attractions.

Cons: There is building work next door which starts at 8am
