Koukaki cozy apartment 5 minutes to metro

Secure, clean, and comfortable apartment close to Athens landmarks

Pros: Communication with the owner was excellent and timely. The apartment itself is well located, within walking distance of cafes, restaurants, boutiques, supermarkets, and most importantly, the acropolis. It is small but suitable for one or two people and inside a secure apartment building in Athens. It includes a lounge room with tv and ac; kitchen with all the essential cooking facilities as well as a coffee pod machine (dishwashing liquid provided); the bathroom has a shower (body wash, shampoo and towels provided), toilet (and toilet paper), and a washing machine (powder provided); the bedroom includes a double bed (linen provided), ac, and built-in robes. The bedroom also opens onto a balcony. There is a lift if you don't want to walk up and down several flights of stairs.

Cons: The only issue for me was that the mattress was too firm. No other complaints.

Pleasant apartment in gentrified neighborhood of Athens

Pros: Comfortable apartment in the Koukaki neighborhood. 2 small balconies, front (streetside, northwest) and back (facing inner courtyard, southeast). Comfortable bed and mattress. Soft satin bed linnen. All outdoor windows are double pane and have anti-insect mesh. Modern AC-unit in the bedroom and a unit in the living room. Kitchen with all amenities for longer stays, including oil/vinager, salt/pepper and sugar. Complimentary coffee cups and some tea bags. Cleaning products and utensils, vacuum cleaner and detergents available. Also enough toilet paper. Some extra towels and bed linnen available. Wi-fi is 50/10 Mbps. Sufficient for online work and videocalls. Supermarket and bakery across the street. And many more restaurants and bars, e.g. Olimpiou or Drakou street, within a few minutes walk. About 10-12 minutes walk to Akropolis Museum and 5-7 minutes walk to the nearest metrostation.

Cons: Bathroom is smallish. And not suited for people over 1.80m/6ft. tall. I would suggest adding a shower curtain, as it's hard to keep water inside of the shower tray and not flood the rest of the bathroom. The toilet seat is a bit too small for the toilet bowl and loose in its hinges, which is somewhat uncomfortable. I would have preferred covers for the duvets and fitted sheets, instead of just 2 bed sheets. Needed some time to make the bed every day. Sound insulation is decent, but some street noise and sounds from neighbors is audible in the background. But it's understandable for living in the city.

Pros: Nice apartment, located on the third floor, comfortable living room, large kitchen well equipped with everything you need, , the bed in the bedroom was comfortable, , overall a pleasant stay and good communication with the managers

Cons: the shower is quite small but adequate there is some noise from the street because the bedroom faces it

Pros: The apartment is fully equipped also for a long staying and it's located in a lively neighborhood at a walking distance from the Acropolis. Highly recommended.

Comfortable apartment for exploring Athens

Pros: Great communication throughout, well appointed and comfortable apartment in a good location for exploring Athens.

Cons: We arrived at night and it wasn't clear where the keysafe was and which one to access, so it would help if the guidance was clearer, perhaps with an up to date photo. Being in a city centre neighbourhood you have to accept there is going to be a degree of noise.

Perfect place to stay

Pros: The apartment was in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to all the major sights, historical monuments, and museums which was absolutely amazing. The apartment was perfectly furnished, especially the kitchen, where in addition to a large fridge, stove, and kettle, there was also a microwave oven and a toaster. There were even spices, salt, and oil in the kitchen, so I didn't have to buy these little things, if I wanted to cook something. I also appreciated the coffee machine with coffee capsules. Everything worked as it should. The apartment was very nice and comfortable. The two balconies were also a big plus. In the Athenian heat, I was happy to have a washing machine and airconditioner. If I decide to visit Athens again in the future, I will definitely stay here. Highly recommended for families or people who like quiet places to stay.

Pros: Very cozy apartment in the Athens downtown! Very close by to the city metro and easy to walk around downtown. A lot of nice places around for a coffee or breakfast/brunch!

Cons: Nothing! I loved everything!!
