Ancient Agora Apartments

Pros: Location and space. Much bigger than expected. Walking distance from all the best sites

Nice apartment

Pros: Good place to stay for the evening; clear communication, clean, in the heart of the city, close to the metro.

Cons: Out of the hosts control but the property is surrounded by bars and restaurants; we booked thinking that it would more quiet after midnight, try 3am with thumping music from a closeby bar. Ear plugs were provided which was thoughtful of the host. The balcony also overlooks the restaurants, so you are looking at patrons etc

Lovely apparentment in vibrant area

Pros: Great location in vibrant area. Lovely apartment with good bathroom & cute balcony. Lots to do & see nearby, many places were walkable & if not, the metro was great. The host was very accommodating.

Cons: Nothing . Sometimes it was a bit noisy until around midnight (but to be expected for a lively area) but we knew this in advance & earplugs were provided.

Excellent location, great amenities and luggage storage a bonus too!

Pros: Excellent location with walking distance to Acropolis. Cafes, market, shops etc.

Cons: It didn’t bother us as we were tired but has the potential to keep some people awake at night as it is in a busy street opposite cafes etc. Saturday night is became quieter at midnight and then noise again at 8am. They have some sound proofing on windows and provide earplugs :-)

Pros: Great room, bathroom, location, luggage room for between checkout and transfer

Pros: Had all the amenities you could need, quiet overnight. Powerful shower and aircon.

Cons: Just to be aware the apartment is one large room - so all the beds are close to each other - worked fine for us & supplied earplugs.

Pros: First of all, although we did not have the opportunity to meet face to face, we would like to thank the Apartment Manager Mr. Zisis for his close attention. He responded to all our messages in a helpful manner and deserves a separate thank you. Also, the cleanliness of the apartment was great.

Cons: Everything was perfect, there is nothing negative to say.

Pros: Very good location near to city centre, eateries etc.Spacious comfortable apartment. Surprisingly quiet at night so good sleep! Lovely bathroom.

Lovely stay in the heart of plaka

Pros: Location is perfect right in the middle of plaka and close to the metro. The room was spacious and clean with a lovely little balcony to people watch. Rooftop bar next door overlooking the Parthenon.

Cons: A bit noisy on a night despite the soundproofing but this did not bother us. Earplugs are advisable

Really good, friendly, accomodating would definatly return

Pros: Excellent location only tricky aspect is carrying suitcase up a flight of stairs which thankfully really friendly cleaning staff helped with

Cons: On saturday it was pretty noisy but the location is so great we fell asleep anyway
