Charming apartment in a great location
Pros: Charming apartment in Koukaki. Walkable to the Acropolis. Nice, local neighbourhood with a great bakery close by as well as cafes, restaurants and a supermarket.. We arrived after midnight, and our host kindly stayed up to greet us.
Cons: All was great.

Great position for visiting Athens
Pros: Cozy and spacious apartment, quiet position but only at 10 minutes from restaurants and 15 from the Acropolis area. Kind and helpful owners.

Pros: Olga was so kind - our plane was delayed and landed at 4am and she was kind enough to let us in at that time! The property has a Nespresso machine, which is my best. 10 min walk to Acropolis, stunning bakery on the corner, delicious restaurants nearby. Amazing aircon!!!

Second stay in this large well equipped and well located apartment was just a good as the first time 😀
Pros: Second stay here this summer in Athens. Always made very welcome and given any help we need ☺️ Love the large well equipped apartment with good air con and the location is fantastic. Close to Dionysus Theatre with views of the Acropolis. Easy walking distance to Plaka, Monasteraki, and the Acropolis and all to see and do there. However there are lots of good shops, tavernas, cafes ,bars etc in the streets very close to the apartment 👍 Definitely would stay there again when in Athens 😄

Loved the large apartment in a fantastic location in Athens!
Pros: The property was large, spacious and well equipped.. and on the ground floor 👍( lovely not to have too many steps!!!). Location was excellent as very close to the Acropolis, theatre and the Museum. Also close to Plaka and Monasteraki with all the restaurants ,bars and shops!!. But even better, it was close to a very good local street with bars, cafes and tavernas, together with supermarkets and bakeries etc all within easy walking distance ( and very close to the centre).
Cons: Just one thing was the shower,. which was very good but would be a little difficult if you were a tall person. The bathroom ceiling was fairly low if you were tall like mine my friend 😊

A hidden gem that has everything!
Pros: Everything - what a hidden gem! Very central location, very clean, very comfortable and attention to detail was excellent.

Comfortable and quiet apartment reasonably close to central Athen
Pros: Quiet and reasonably close to the Acropolis (15 minute walk) and commercial centre of Athens (20-25 minute walk). Spacious apartment, easily enough space for the four of us. Clean and comfortable apartment.
Cons: Could do with a pack to explain how things work at the apartment. The window shutters were a bit tricky to operate, also the oven. The apartment owner lives next door, but you feel silly to bother her over little things.

Great place. One of the better homes I’ve rented.
Pros: The kitchen was well stocked. Location was a close walk to the Acropolis, yet less touristy than other areas. Would definitely stay here again. Host was great!
Cons: Bathroom ceiling is 6 feet high. Didn’t bother my wife or kids and was only a minor inconvenience for me.

Perfect base for visiting Athens!
Pros: great safe, quiet location - shutters kept it cool. had all we needed and separate bedrooms was the luxury being 2 friends. Found a lovely breakfast place/ice cream and not too far from Plaka/Acropolis museum. can climb up the hill opposite for a great view
Cons: There is no view as ground floor but we were out all the time anyway.

Koukai is a fine place to stay, while the House and the Owner are worth thanking.....
Pros: The house welcomed me as if I was entering my Grandmother's; familiar old plan with new refurbishments whilst keeping the athmosphere I am accustomed to. The Owner was living just above and her Grandmother turned out to be from Istanbul, while mine was from Ioannina. As I have always argued, different religion, different language but same people. And the location is really good, near the historical sites, but even as a tourist you may join the city life. The supermarket is very near and all amenities are around. Plus watch for the local market, set up just one block away on the street.
Cons: The washing machine and the dryer were old fashioned. That is the biggest surprise if I am asked to find something wrong.
