Sunny all day apartment in Omonia
Pros: Check in period is quite short, but the host agreed to give the keys half hour earlier - host is agency and not the owner, so they send a guy with keys to meet in front of the building. Neighbouring streets are very lively in the evenings, have great food and drinks, affordable, most guests are local (I prefer to eat where the locals do, not where the tourists go). Apartment has good isolation (new windows and doors) so loud streets in the night are hardly heard in the apartment. Bad is comfortable for sleeping. Two subway stations are within 10 minutes of walk (Omonia, Panepistimiou), makes all Athens quickly reachable. Also key tourism points are at max 25-30 minutes of walk (Syntagma around 20 minutes, Monastiraki around 25...). Very soft and thick towels provided.
Cons: Cooker existing, but at its position there is no power plug and you have to bring it to the top of kitchen lower furniture parts, where if plugged and used is too close to the upper kitchen furniture parts (and that space is quite narrow, not practical to use). But there is a microwave to help. I was spoiled with former apartments that always had some limited availability of sugar, tea bags, oil, this apartment had only bottle water in the fridge and none of the mentioned (one toilet paper, no soap in to bathroom). Just do not expect that, it is not presumed. Pillows pretty thick, if you are used to sleep on low that could be a temptation, bring yours if that is the case.

Brilliant location, very interesting and happening area. Loved the apartment and enjoyed everything!
Pros: I had to ring Alex when we were at the apartment and he came in about 10 minutes to hand us the keys and to go through some information.
Cons: It was actually hard to find.

Great company owned appartment, be sure to check in within time frame
Pros: It's a beautifull spacious and clean appartment, with a great bed. Very convenient, the appartment offers everything that you might need. The building is in a colorfull and alternative neighborhood with lots of small restaurants nearby. It's a 20-30 minute walk to most populair attractions, but you can also easily take a taxi if needed.
Cons: We were stressed while checking in (public holiday and some things went wrong) ; it was a first for us with booking through booking.com that we only had an 1 hour time frame to check in. Weird, stressfull experience, I spoke with both the company and the agent; which was confusing. We needed to pay 10 euro to the 'agent' who gave us our keys, because we were 45 minutes late. We would have loved some extra clean towels and toilet paper with our three day stay.

exotic real Athens very interesting.
Pros: In great location the bars and people warm and friendly the area reminds of the Bronx in New York the buildings covered in massive pieces of graffiti art.
Cons: so hard to find delayed flight the map on my phone took me round and round for a hour and half, I suggest 95 bus walk to the beautiful syntagma square then taxi for the a short journey to the apartment, take a red tour bus see more and put your feet up.

A very nice place to stay in the centre of Athens
Pros: The apartment was everything we needed for a quick trip. You are right in the middle of everything and all the main historical attractions are a walk away. Just down the corner, there are amazing places to eat, one was called Agrafa. The best food ever for a good price
Cons: Too many graffiti but once you learn about the area, you'll understand why. There are still some protest going on but that's nobody's fault and that's what Democracy is about...which is a way of living in Greece.
