Athens City Center Gem-Acropolis View-Bright Spacious Flat

Week long stay.

Pros: Host was easy to contact. Anything technical was generally explained, and if it wasn't, the host could be contacted. The location was excellent for proximity to key tourist sites and the meat and fish markets. Everything worked without much trouble.

Cons: There was a rooftop party at a large venue that was extremely loud. I did not like having to fluck fuse switches on and off for the shower. The elevator worked very well, but at one point was stuck because the door wasn't shut on the ground floor.

Pros: It was quiet at night for sleeping. It is very close to Omonia metro.

Cons: Bed was a bit hard for our taste but despite this we slept ok. The surrounding area is not generally a good area.

Pros: Perfect for me as a solo female traveller. I was in Athens for work and the location is the perfect mid point with access by foot or metro. A short walk to all the sights, lots of options for restaurants and municipal market 5 mins by foot. Mária is a fab host- easy to contact, very considerate responds to queries quickly. Great view of acropolis from balcony. Had a fab stay - thank you Mária 🙂

Cons: Better kitchen equipment would be great - though adequate. Balcony is small so More comfortable seating on balcony to enjoy the view in the evening would be fab!

Overall, I liked everything.

Pros: I would like to start by saying that the owner of the apartment, Maria, is amazing. She was very helpful on the day of our arrival. The apartment itself is very clean and well-maintained, with everything we needed. We really liked the view of the Acropolis from the balcony. It is also convenient that there is a metro nearby.

Cons: The entrance to the apartments from the street is a bit intimidating, but this does not detract from all the advantages.

Fabulous apartment with great facilities & a great balcony & Brilliant location.

Pros: Apartment was spotlessly clean, had a beautiful bathroom with a great shower & loved the balcony which had a view of the Acropolis. It is in a great location 2 mins walk to Omonia metro station & 5-10min walk to Monastiraki Square. Metro cost 4 Euros for a 24hr ticket for Athens area- fantastic & metro comes every 2-5mins!

Pros: Clean and calm place, near central market and walking distance to the center. The place is well equipped and offers a nice view from the balcony. It was nice choice to stay there!

Spacious, warm, essentials covered. Well kept apartment.

Pros: Loads of space, great during a spring break. Very central to get around to any sightseeing. Metro on the doorstep. Nice touches with the coffee and soaps.

Cons: Area can be a bit rough, I had no issues personally, but solo female travellers might find it a bit unsafe.

Pros: Excellent apartment with a beautiful view of the acropolis and very helpful host. Very convenient location, a few steps away is the Omonia metro station which allows you to easily get around the whole city. Very recommended

Super logement

Pros: Bon logement, situé à côté de tout, dans un quartier calme et avec une belle vue sur l’Acropole. Le logement est plutôt bien équipé : lave linge, douche, savon, machine à café…

Cons: -manque d’équipement pour cuisiner (vaisselles, casseroles, verres…). -pas de parking à côté du logement. -logement assez froid en décembre car un de climatiseur ne fonctionnait pas… nous avions froid. -pas d’étendoir alors qu’il y a une machine à laver. Où étendre notre linge mouillé ?

Pros: La casa es más amplia de lo que parece. Está ubicada en un lugar perfecto. Nos encantó quedarnos allí, se lo recomendamos a todo el que vaya a Atenas unos días.
