Lemon Tree House with garden in Plaka

Perfect stay in Athens with everything at a walking distance but yet is a quiet escape from the crowds. The property is

Pros: This place is in the heart of Plaka but yet is quiet and away from the crowd. Stepping into the garden is absolutely magical. During the season that we were there, there were lemon and orange trees laden with fruit. The house itself has a large living and dining area, comfortable rooms, 2 outdoor terraces, one overlooking a part of the garden, the other is on a rooftop with a view of the Acropolis, Mount Lycabettus and the surrounding area. Everything is at a walking distance and I really couldn’t have asked for more in a property.

The perfect Athens stay!

Pros: The cute Lemon Tree House is in the best location close to everything. Is very cosy, clean and has everything you need. We loved the terrace with a stunning view over Athens. The host is amazing, very easy to communicate with. He was so kind and let us check in earlier and check out late!

Cons: Everything was perfect!

Pros: Acropolis in the backyard, close to restaurants and shopping. Quiet place even though it's in the bustling city! Easy check in/out and really appreciated the welcome snacks and water.

Cons: This place is not made for folks with accessibility needs. Narrow, steep staircases (but to a beautiful rooftop terrace, so honestly no complaints!) This was not a problem for us but worth noting for some guests.

Pros: Very quirky. Location very close to Acropolis and many restaurants.

Cons: Sofa beds not very comfortable, really only suitable for 4 adults.

Pros: Very charming and in a very convenient location right by the acropolis and Acropoli metro station.

Cons: if I have to name something it would be the steep staircase

A little gem in a perfect location. Set in a beautiful garden with a bonus small rooftop

Pros: This is a great little house with a very good host. The upstairs living room is fantastic, the views from every window is green and leafy, such a wonderful experience when in a hot Athens. The aircondition coped with the heat so we were very comfortable. I would very much recommend this property. The only thing to consider is that the internal stairs are very cramped so it could be hard for people with mobility issues.

Pros: A beautiful character home right in the beating heart of Plaka. The most beautiful, quiet and walkable tourist friendly neighborhood in Athens. We had the most relaxed, memorable evening on the roof terrace. Amazing value for money, could not recommend this place more. Very steep stairs but as long as you don't mind that it is a super practical space. Air-conditioning and water were great.

brilliant short break stay

Pros: great location - everything on the doorstep. Juice bar/coffee and pastry / bars and restaurants. Everything you could want just at the end of the road. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the location.

Cons: The beds on the top floor were very hard. The kitchen was lacking in sharp knives and teatowels.

Perfect little oasis in Plaka

Pros: The location is perfect, in a quiet street but with central access to Plaka. The house is a quiet oasis with an amazing little roof terrace. Such a rare find in Plaka.

Cons: Only one key is frustrating as the gate buzzer/intercom wasn’t working and the gate is quite far from the house.
