The Athenian Penthouse in Syntagma Square

Great location, spacious apartment

Pros: Excellent location. Large balcony which would be great in warmer weather. Spacious rooms and comfortable beds.

Cons: There were major renovation works happening two floors down when we were there … with banging and drilling until 1am on our first night! Our host spoke to the builders and that didn’t happen again but there was audible house music from somewhere nearby from midnight to 4am the next two nights. Ironically, there was almost zero road noise despite its central location … but bring your earplugs just in case!

Pros: Perfect location, the apartment was very clean and comfortable for a family of 4. Also Mr. Vasilis was very friendly and helpful.

Pros: Very nice flat a short distance from both shopping and the nice Plaka area. Clean and with a glimps of Acropolis from the terrace.

Pros: Ήταν καθαρό και οι χώροι άνετοι. Τα μπάνια πολύ εξυπηρετικά που ήταν δύο κ το μεγάλο ήταν άνετο κ είχε πάντα ζεστό νερό. Είχε τρία κλιματιστικά που ήταν αρκετά κ είχε ζέστη. Η τοποθεσία ήταν άριστη.

Cons: Θα μπορούσε να έχει περισσότερα πράγματα στην κουζίνα. Οπως μια τοστιέρα και περισσότερα πιάτα. Επισης ήταν κάπως κακοδιατηρημένο σε κάποια έπιπλα. Αλλά οκ δεν ήταν τόσο σημαντικό

Pros: The host met us in the building, which is old fashioned with a small elevator. We were in constant communication before even leaving home until we reached the property. Very communicative and helpful and without delays. The two bedrooms and two bathrooms were good. Extra towels were delivered mid week. There is a really huge walk out terrace with a nice table and six chairs. The location is fantastic. Syntagma Square is a few metres away and is a 10 minute walk to Plaka. Plenty of restaurants and cafes al over.

Cons: The kitchen could use some soup bowls, small pots and pans and regular coffee mugs. Otherwise quite ok, if all you do is heat food. Please ask for garbage removal as ours piled up under the sink during the week.

Pros: Location was excellent, barely 50 meter walk from Ermou Street. It had all amenities and 3 bedrooms and a balcony with a great view. All that for a very reasonable price.
