A modest well-located apartment that suited our needs.

Pros: We were looking for a short return stay to Athens which had a washing machine, was close to the airport rail line, was reasonably priced and had an elevator if it wasn’t ground floor. The apartment is unrenovated but it ticked all the needs we had. The hosts are was helpful.

Cons: The mattress was pretty hard.

Would stay again for a night or two in central athens

Pros: Very easy - our ferry was delayed 3 hours but was still accomodated at no extra fuss. Location fairly easy to find just the doorbell not clear which to press.

Cons: Everything was fine for a quick one night stay.

Pros: Superb location, great host, clean and spacious apartment with a view

Cons: Nothing rly. There are bars down on the street that make noise until 12:30. but that’s something you are informed about before even booking the place - so nothing to complain about really.

This was our home in Athens! It felt safe whilst being central to the things we wanted to do!

Pros: We were very happy to be in this location. Sooooo many great restaurants and cafes, close to shopping (including the beautiful little markets) and all the tourist stuff! Our wonderful host met us at the front door to take us to our apartment. Thank goodness there was a lift so we didn’t have to lug our suitcases up stairs. Our host also arranged a taxi to take us to the airport at the end of our stay. The apartment had air conditioning in each room making the space very comfortable. We loved having a kitchen and a washing machine too!

Cons: This apartment is located in a very popular and vibrant street so noise late at night could be an issue? I always travel with noise canceling earplugs so this wasn’t a problem!

Pros: Loft is perfectly located in the Plaka area within a few minutes from the main attractions. I completed my bucket list of places within 3 days. I found the area to be very safe and well served by the surrounding bars and restaurants. There is plenty of choice too. The Metro station of Monastiraki is just minutes away.

Cons: The area can get a bit noisy on weekend evenings. That said, everything stops at 12,30.
