Theseus Retreat 10 min walk from the Acropolis

Wonderful location to explore the best of Athens

Pros: Great location close to the acropolis and a wonderful bakery right underneath, Aris and George were helpful with arranging a taxi from the airport for us, would love to stay again.

Cons: There was nothing we didn't like!

Pros: Exceptional location of the apartment. Close to downtown. Metro just 2 minutes away. Meanwhile, it is a quite place. Bakery in the same building for the quick breakfast. Very responsive and accommodating hosts.

Cons: No negative experience.

Good Location

Pros: I really liked this property for its excellent location. It was conveniently situated, making it easy to get around. Plenty of mirrors!

Cons: One downside was that the apartment got quite cold during the day. The heating is connected to the building’s central system and only came on in the morning and evening, which meant it was cold during the day.

Pros: Promxity and location were in an exceptional and safe neighborhood near attractions and away from all the hustle, perfect for what it was great host Aris and George very helpful and accommodating

Cons: Nothing it was great value for money

I loved it. It felt like home for a few weeks.

Pros: Perfect location, comfortable size, well equipped apartment. Aris was particularly responsive to queries and an emergency repair to balcony door locks.

Cons: As an elderly person with sight impairment, I had a bit of trouble with the steps to the lift (four external, twelve internal). There is, however, a stair handrail for most of the way.

Lovely family apartment

Pros: The apartment was lovely. Great air con and very quiet. It was a very comfy stay for our family of 5 to explore Athens. I loved being walking distance from the tourist attractions whilst also being a little out of the mayhem. Easy to reach supermarkets and a bakery downstairs with delicious food, coffee and ice cream. Amazing to have a washing machine in the apartment to use too.

Cons: The bathroom is small. Probably normal size for Athens though.

Pros: Location is great, some shops nearby and a lot of restaurants Lovely balcony and tv with entertainment Really helpful staff who organised a taxi for us on the way back and allowed early check in, super responsive

Cons: The blankets were a bit cold

Central visit to Athens

Pros: Location including the bakery downstairs. Little touches like herbs and oil, as well as jam and honey. Access to the Metro was great.

Cons: There is some occasional traffic noise, but this is to be expected in such a central location.

Pros: Great new apartment in a perfect location, walking distance from the Acropolis, Plaka, and the old city, 3 min. walk from the metro. Big and spacious rooms, place is renovated, very nice and responsive hosts. We loved it an will return in our next time in Athens.

Pros: Wonderful stay in a fantastic location. The apartment was quaint and charming, perfect for a few days exploring the city. We really appreciated the warm hospitality.

Cons: As a family of 5 we wanted space however, the apartment felt smaller than the photos suggested, and accessing it required using stairs, which was a bit challenging and unsafe at times for our family of five , especially with luggage.
