Modita Boutique Apartments

Still great, but less appropriate for a long stay in winter

Pros: We stayed in this apartment for 9 days. This was our third time here, primarily because of the excellent location in a charming neighborhood. We had a clean, comfortable apartment on the ground floor, like on previous times. We appreciated the access to a washing machine and dryer.

Cons: After having stayed in other lovely places nearby, we found this particular stay somewhat less appealing than before. When we arrived, it was clear that the apartment had not been cleaned after the previous guests. This was a mistake and after a call we got access to the other apartment for one night. In the last two days, we ran out of shampoo and shower gel and were disappointed that no replacements were provided. The apartment also had mosquitoes, and nothing was provided to deter them. Additionally, this was the first time we stayed in winter, which made us notice that there was no extra blanket for the cooler nights. While the location remains great and familiar, these missing amenities impacted our overall comfort this time around.

A wonderful option for a couple visiting Athens.

Pros: Location was excellent, lovely restaurants and bars close by. Near to everywhere we wanted to explore. The place was modern, clean, comfortable and the instructions and advice were so clear and great.

From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations — the apartment was beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The location is ideal: peaceful and quiet, yet close enough to reach beaches, restaurants, and shops in just a few minutes. The attention to detail in both the apartment and the overall service truly reflects the high standards Modita holds. A very special thank you to Thanos, who was incredibly helpful and kind throughout our entire stay. He was always available, responsive, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. His support made our vacation even more enjoyable and stress-free. Highly recommended — we’ll definitely be coming back!

Pros: Spacious, comfortable, good location, excellent host. Recently renovated meant it had a very good bathroom and a functional kitchen. I would go back easily.

Cons: Being a ground floor apt (sort of), security is important. I guess some improvements could be made to the door if anything - then again it would mess with the front appearance of the place.

Pros: Beautiful apartment, very well located The staff was very helpful and kind. I highly recommend this adress.

Great Stay

Pros: Great apartment – clean, modern, and well-equipped. Host was very responsive and check-in was smooth. Very close to restaurant and bars also main tourist area.

Pros: Everything was as expected or even better. Especially the bed was very comfortable and the shower. A little more kitchenware would have been perfect

I will book again the property for my next stay in Athens.

Pros: The location is top for leisure and business trips. It's close to the historical center and only 7 minutes from Evangelismos Metro (Line to the airport). The service was perfect, and the apartment is easy to reach. Clean and spacious. They also have a perfect laundry service for the case you travel for longer periods. There is a super market, barber shop, pharmacy etc very close.

Cons: The neighborhood is central and crowded. So, if you have a car you need time to find a parking place. But actually, you don't need a car (never in the city center in Athens).

Overall the stay was perfect.

Pros: Apartment was perfect, good location, fresh and new .

Cons: Please fix the stove burners. As I’m elderly and travelling alone I had hoped to make my evening meal and not have to go out in the evening. This was not possible and inconvenient .
