Acropolis Grand Apartment

Pros: We had a wonderful stay and were very impressed with this apartment hotel. The apartment was exceptionally clean, and the beds were incredibly comfortable, which allowed us to get a great night’s sleep. The location is fantastic, with everything we wanted to see within walking distance. We also appreciated the blackout curtains, which were perfect for sleeping in without being disturbed by the morning sun. Having two separate bathrooms was a huge plus and very convenient, especially when traveling with more than two people. Another great feature was the grocery store located right across the street. The only minor issue we noticed was that the door to one of the bathrooms scrapes the floor slightly, making it a bit noisy to open and close. It would be great if this small defect could be fixed to allow the door to operate silently. Overall, we highly recommend this apartment hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and had a fantastic experience.

Convenient location, easy check in, good comms with owner.

Pros: Good location, good eateries nearby, acropolis view, not far to walk to Acropolis and Plaka.

Cons: Slightly tired bathrooms but would stay again. Very clean and modern apartment.

Good, comfortable property with an exceptional view of the Acropolis.

Pros: First time in Athens and this property has a large balcony with a stellar view of the Acropolis. You can have your morning coffee or evening wine with a great view of a significant historical site. Really cool. We initially went to the wrong property and had a moment of panic, but the host got us sorted out and everything was good.

Cons: No complaints.

Super location with Acropolis view, close to Plaka

Pros: Super location with stunning view on Acropolis. Sunny balcony. 5 min walk from Plaka and metro station. Very friendly and helpful host.

Cons: An oven or microwave would have been nice.

Good money value

Pros: The location is great! Just a few minutes to public transport, about 1h with the Metro to/from airport. Just a walking distance to coffee shop, restaurants and a minimarket. Less than 10 minutes walk to Acropolis Museum or restaurants and souvenir shops. The apartment was clean and had AC in every room. The key was left at the main entrance in a safe box, easy to find. The apartment is on the 3rd floor and there is an elevator. Good communication with the host.

Cons: In the few days staying here with the family, we had no problem, everything was great.

Pros: Cleanliness of the apartment. Lift to access 3rd floor. Location for sightseeing, large supermarket, plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby.

Would have enjoyed a longer stay.

Pros: Comfortable. Nice big bedrooms. Good for two couples. One couple gets the larger bed and room, and the other couple gets the en suite bathroom, so it works well. Location was fantastic for the price. Easy walk to the Acropolis. Nice market across the street. Balcony was nice to sit out on in the evening. Sadly, we only stayed one night.

Cons: Lighting in the bathroom. Way too bright in the middle of the night. I had to bring my cell phone so I didn't jar myself awake. A simple night light can solve that. Our host kindly allowed the next guests to drop their bags before 3PM check in. Presumedly he meant after we left at 11, but they came early and kept bothering us as we were trying to get out. I told them they could put their luggage on the balcony, but then they wanted to hang out while we finished showering and packing up. So this isn't on the host. Just more on our experience.

Pros: Really great location. Quiet, considering it was in a tourist location. Very comfortable beds.

Excellent Location /Spotless / Very Helpful Host

Pros: The location is absolutely perfect - close to the main attractions, eateries and public transport. The room was spotless and very well-maintained. The host was incredibly helpful and attentive, always ready to assist with any requests.

Cons: The lift is very small, old, and slow, The apartment is on the 3rd floor, and while it's manageable if you don't mind stairs, getting there can be challenging, especially with large luggage. . Once inside, the apartment itself is really nice, but the shower glass doors could use some attention to prevent water from splashing or leaking out.
