Historic Center Apartment at Thisseio

Pros: The location was perfect for seeing most things and the metro line to other district areas was so close, lots of cafes, restaurants, souvenir shops, supermarket within 5 min walking distance, their was a baking to the front of the apt which had fantastic view, and a smaller balcony off the bedroom, which you could sit and also dry clothes on a washing line, the apt had pretty much everything you could want, shower gel, shampoo, a washing machine, tea and coffee,

Cons: A microwave to heat up food would have been very handy, along with a standard toaster, for breakfast items....

Pros: This is an excellent apartment to stay in Athens and I would recommend it to anyone. The location is very convenient, a stone’s throw away from the entrance to the Hephaisteion, with multiple fine cafes and restaurants in the vicinity. Entry is simple, all of the necessary utilities were present (even a couple of umbrellas were available). The rooms are cosy and well lighted, with windows on both sides of the flat and a cosy little balcony with a coffee table, perfect for a relaxing with a beverage. The view is nice, though the neighbouring building blocks the Acropolis, but that’s hardly a problem, since one gets a quick access to the roof terrace with an amazing view of the whole city and the Acropolis in particular (see photo). It is especially beautiful in the early morning. The hot water was great; the bed was comfortable, with lots of comfy pillows and the wifi quality was perfect. Overall, I highly recommend this place and am very glad to have chosen it.

I very much enjoyed my stay.

Pros: Location was good and close to a major tourist attraction, i.e. the Acropolis, and near to some excellent restaurants. The apartment had a balcony at either end of the apartment which enabled two people to sit comfortably. You also had shared access to the roof which was a bonus later in the day where you could sit and chill out before the sun set. The host was quick to respond to the questions I asked while I was staying in Athens.

Cons: To get to the apartment you had to climb the steps up a number of floors. Fine if you are reasonably fit and healthy. But something to keep in mind if you are not.

God localization and confottable apartment.

Pros: All is perfect. Confotable beds. Hot shower. Localization is close to every tourist places. A lot of restaurants near by.

Cons: The wi-fi do not work good.

I got absolutly enthusiastic about the location. We enjoyed our stay.

Pros: The location of the apartment is absolutly perfect! Best place in Athens, close to historical sites, metro station, best food in Psiri, shoping... We had all information for our stay in time.

Cons: It can get a bit noisy in the living room, which is oriented to the street due to older windows. But I am used to complete silence at night :) And I still have problems with one blanket for double bed.

Good location in Athens

Pros: Fantastic view from roof and a comfortable apartment with well equipped kitchen. Close to lacal attractions.

Huge apartment with wonderful views from roof; fantastic location and wonderful host.

Pros: The proximity to Parthenon and region, great restaurants and public transport was fantastic. The size of the apartment was a real surprise with separate living area, kitchen and 2 balconies a bonus. Having a washing machine was helpful. The view from the roof terrace was amazing.

Cons: The flight of stairs to get up to level 4 was quite challenging with luggage as the stairs area steep. The apartment could be updated overall and bathroom was small but functional.

Pleasant stay. Location big plus.

Pros: The appartement is located close to the acropolis and short walking distance tot the other parts of the centre. From the small balcony you have a nice view. Inside it is simple but with al the necessity. Washing machine present. We had some issue with the washing machine and the lady was there within 5 minutes to help. Airco in the bedroom present. It was quiet and we had a good sleep. And very important, it was clean.

Cons: Leaving food on the counter attracts ant.

Great apartment

Pros: The apartment was great in a good location close to everything. Everything we needed for our stay was there.

Clean short stay in central Athens

Pros: - excellent location - super clean!!! - spacious and quite - easy check in - lycavitos view from the balcony - amenities (extra blankets and towels in the wardrobe, shower gel, body wash and hair dryer available)

Cons: - No window shutter (just curtains) on bedroom - bathroom window didn't open These two were the main two negative discoveries for me and they would make me use this for short stays only. - no elevator (was aware from other reviews about this before booking though)
