Beautiful Apartment in Koukaki 5min to Acropolis

All positive. Nothing negative

Pros: The owners were fabulous and went above and beyond for me. The flat is lovely and in such a convenient location. You will be so glad you stayed!

Pros: Everything is within the scope of the nome, all conditions are created for the tourist.

Pros: Gorgeous, cosy, but spacious flat with an amazing balcony in a great location. Had mostly everything you need, and reliable internet, an Aircon to make the rook warmer (or perhaps cooler in summer). Honestly a great place if you need something spacious.

Cons: The hosts are quite unresponsive, we asked a question about the laundry and never got a reply. It would be good if some coffee capsules for the machine were there, I don't expect a whole pack but I need to know which ones to buy! Also when you arrive you'd like to have a nice coffee. Also, they give one key with the device for the electricity. If one of you goes out either you leave the keys with the other so they have to go out, or you stop them from having most the lights (fridge still works no problem there). It would be good to have a second set of keys.

Pros: perfectly located apartment. Smooth communication with the owner with whom we were able to come to an arrangement on certain practical matters.

Pros: Excellent location, very comfortable and spacious apartment. Kitchen well equipped, and really loved the balcony which was nicely furnished :)

Pros: Really great appartment in a 15 min walking distance to the Acropolis. Really great spots for food and drinks around the flat. The next Metro station is also just a 5 min walk away.

Pros: The location of the apartment is incredibly good - you can’t get it better. It is a 10-15 mins walk from the acropolis and in the middle of the best neighborhood Koukaki. There are plenty of little shops where you can buy creative stuff and all you need - supermarkets etc .. amazing!

Cons: I can understand some comments on the noise from the street - indeed- when you are in bed it feels like you sleep in the street as it is so noisy - but that’s normal when you are in such a central neighborhood- so I would just recommend to bring some good ear protection/ plugs for the night and everything will be alright

Pros: Close to the metro station Large apartment Clean

Cons: We couldn't find any trash bags There was no broom - especially when you are travelling with a two-year old kid its quite useful The balcony door at the living room was damaged; the owners informed us, however it wasn't fixed and the wind was coming (especially the nighttime was chilly) into the room including the noise from the road. Final comment that has nothing to do with the property: The road can be really busy and noisy at some times (especially the motorcycles)

Despite its strange name, the Beautiful Apartment lived up to the billing.

Pros: The bathtub was great as was the hot water (we have neither in our house in Bangkok). The kitchen was adequate and we cooked in rather than eating out. Grocery stores are nearby in the neighborhood. The TV was a loss as we couldn't get any channels on it in our 8 nights there. We met the owners briefly and they were very friendly. The beds were fairly comfortable. The price was very reasonable for what we got.

Cons: Storage of our clothes was limited as the wardrobe, while great for hanging clothes, had its drawers mostly filled with the owners' possessions. A few areas were limited, for example, there were no bowls for soup or cereal. The door for the plate cabinet was broken. It was a bit annoying to have to turn the hot water heater off after 20 minutes. But I was able to have a few soaks in the tub. The street (odos Zinni) was impossible for taxi drivers to find as it doesn't appear on online maps and GPS/sat nav. Saturday night was a bit loud, but the music at a nearby party was turned off before midnight. Guests are given a code to open a key box on the outside of the building. However, even after picking up the keys, unlocking the outside door and the two locks on the apartment itself was a challenge.
