Full of character, welcoming lovely staff

Pros: Staying at Acropolis House, I always change my place to stay when visiting Athens, the four-storey Victorian guesthouse that seems to lean comfortably into its own history. The ground floor still hums with memory — vintage armchairs softened by decades of travellers, the 1950s jukebox standing silent but dignified, the old telephone exchange like a relic from a slower, more deliberate age.

Wonderful economic solution with great access to Athens centre.

Pros: Great location and excellent staff. This hotel is old, needs repair somewhere and they do it step-by-step. But when we asked to change the first shown room because of our personal needs, they did it immediately and we were happy both with room and their attitude.

Cons: It'll be nice to have a kettle in the room. Sometimes tea drinking is important for many visitors.

Where to stay in Athens.

Pros: Great location. Acropolis is just a moment of walkng. Nearby many shops with reasonable prices. And just a 5 minutes to the Greco's project and Athen's cook restaurants - great food and real greek welcome experience.

Cons: No ellevator.
