Great Stay, good value for money

Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and matched the photos shown online. The nearby garage facilities (€10 per night) were very convenient for a car traveler like me, especially given the property’s location which some friends didnt really recommend to me. It’s also well connected to the metro and buses, making it easy to get around. I would definitely consider staying here again in the future. I almost forgot, my pet 🐈 was welcome for free

Cons: There were two small things that were a bit inconvenient for me. First, there were only two electrical outlets in the room. one by the door (not next to the bed) and another above the wardrobe for the air conditioner. Since I had several devices to charge, it was difficult to manage, especially because the power only works when the key card is inserted, meaning you can’t leave devices charging while you’re out. Second, the shower doesn’t have a holder for the showerhead, so it’s not possible to shower hands-free. I know this is common in Greece, but I personally prefer being able to use both hands. That said, these were minor issues and didn’t affect my overall stay. The reception kindly offered to charge one of my devices for me, which I really appreciated.

Highly recommended budget hotel in the heart of Athens

Pros: For the price I paid I am extremely happy with my stay, I went into this booking looking for a hotel with a budget friendly, private room that was still somewhat central to the top tourist spots in the city. Roy Hotel checks all those boxes. The rooms, while not spectacular, have everything I could ask for as a solo traveler. They are spacious enough for one person, have a private washroom, and are within walking distance (25 minutes) to the National Archaeological Museum and a 15 minute drive from the Acropolis. If you are looking for a 5 star hotel this is not it, however if you're looking for a room on a budget for a multi country Europe tour then I highly recommend the Roy Hotel when you're on Athens.

Cons: While this is a key feature of the hotel and not actually the hotel's fault the 24 hour concierge and check-in did lead to a night where a guest on my floor checked in at around 3am and clearly disregarded courtesy for opening their room door and unpacking at that hour.

Handy for onward travel.

Pros: The staff here are so welcoming. I often stay here. It's handy for Liosion Bus Terminal. It is excellent value for money. There are cafes, minimarkets and cake shops nearby.

Cons: Nothing. That's why I keep going back.

Very good value for money

Pros: Our family had 11 hours Transit and it was night time. We booked the hotel upon Arrival to airport. we needed a place to sleep few hours however it exceeded our expectations. ROY hotel was the best price and actually after our stay I can say we had best price and value. Gentleman in reception was very helpful and informative on how to get to airport in the morning despite we decided later to take a taxi he helped us in the morning to get one even cheaper than Uber . Room was clean and so was the shower . Room was air-conditioned and space was cozy for our family 2 beds ( 1 King size and 1 single ). Around the corner in a Saturday night a shops was open we got some snacks and cold water. It was a very good experience.

A truly memorable stay!

Pros: It was so clean, amazing room and the owner was exceptionally helpful, friendly, polite and did everything she could to make us comfortable. She even offered to get a few things we needed and took us to the airport were she did her absolute best to secure a safe journey for us back!

Convenient, good value for money

Pros: I deliberately chose this hotel for its location the first time I stayed. It is a short walk from the bus station that serves long distance destinations. It is not touristy. I now choose it for the warm, friendly staff
