Grand Hyatt Athens

We didn't want our stay to come to an end!

Pros: My partner and me had a great time during our stay at Grand Hyatt in Athens. The Front Desk staff was very welcoming! As for the breakfast service, the selection and the staff were superb, no complaints there. I was very surprised when the waiting staff was refilling my water and juice before I even asked, that was a great touch that I specifically remember, and overall their professional attitude and positive energy really made me smile. Small gestures really make a difference. The room was well cleaned and really spacious, very comfortable bed and in-room facilities. As for the pool/jacuzzi/steam room, they were GREAT, very relaxing, and the staff at the Spa was also very accommodating and asked us if everything was up to our expectations when we exited. Overall, I could not stop smiling and I had a great restful stay, besides the fact that it was only one day.

Cons: The only negative that I have to point out, was the communication with the Housekeeping staff. I was greeting them, smiling, during our whole stay -and also asked for two extra towels at some point, which they provided me-, BUT I wouldn't say that their answers back to me were very welcoming. Their reactions felt quite flat and rushed. Besides that, everything was great with the cleanliness inside - outside our room and public areas.

Pros: Excelente hotel for business travel. Central, confortable, excellent gym and great breakfast.

Pros: The bed comfort, the breakfast experience, and above all, your team members!

Cons: There was an unusual smell in the room.

Will stay again next time in Athens. Great value!

Pros: Great staff, great breakfast buffet and great location.

Pros: Given the price for my stay, the hotel was fantastic. Breakfast was great - a wide choice including things like salmon and mackerel, local produce and champagne. Great view from breakfast on the 8th/9th floor, and plenty of space at breakfast even during the busier times. The room was very nice and spacious given that it was the most basic room. I had a courtyard view on the 7th floor which meant that it wasn't very noisy, but rooms facing the large busy street are probably not as nice. The indoor pool was large and empty in the mornings when I went for a swim. The location isn't the nicest, but taxis to the city centre were around 6-9 euros which is super cheap when split between a few people.

Cons: The spa do with a renovation. It is a bit old and run down with black spots in the corners of tiles, broken floor in the sauna etc. The spa layout is also quite bad for anyone who wants to use the sauna. There is only one shower for both the saunas and pool, and the shower is an open one right opposite the pool. So if you are nude in the sauna and go take a cold shower, you find yourself taking a shower in a well lit area right opposite the pool where people are swimming. There should ideally be some separation between the sauna area and the pool area.

Pros: Everything was geat - rooms, beds, staff, breakfast.

Pros: Great room, super comfortable big bed! Nice bathroom with elegant shower

Cons: Cleaning Service not able to clean surfaces, windows, sink. The WiFi was not working Well. All this made my experience not worth 5* stars

Perfect Getaway.

Pros: The place is just beautiful with a warm reception.

Cons: Nothing to be honest, it really met my expectations.

Nice comfortable hotel

Pros: Specious room, good breakfast, gym with the most important equipment, ca 3 km from Akropolis. Couldn’t have breakfast on last day, so I got take away breakfast box.

Amazing Hotel and Stuff !

Pros: The stuff was amazing especially the parking guy Pano ! He help us a lot with our luggage! They give us better room and they were very helpful and friendly! Definitely worth the visit!
