I Will be travelling the islands again next year and need to connect through Athens will stay here

Pros: Location was perfect and reception staff were super helpful. Breakfast room staff were a little stern and hovered to move away plates as soon as they were empty. felt like you had to leave and couldn't sit and linger. Dining area on roof were totally different - great pizza and amazing views

Cons: Breakfast was quite limited and not particularly appealing but did the job.

Great hotel, recommended

Pros: The hotel had some of the nicest people working there. Their staff checked us in with the most amount of information I’ve ever experienced on close by recommendations for food and places to visit. 10/10 from every perspective other than the location.

Cons: The location was a bit difficult to navigate to central Athens, getting a taxi or uber could be a bit tricky from the layout of the roads. But that is often the case I’ve heard in Athens.

Great location near the metro, clean rooms with Acropolis views, and a good breakfast

Pros: Ilissos Hotel was a great base for our stay in Athens. The location is very convenient (just about 10 minutes from the Sygrou-Fix metro station) making it easy to reach both the Acropolis and the airport. Our room was clean and comfortable, and we especially enjoyed having a terrace with views of the Acropolis. Breakfast was continental, with several options to choose from, and it was a good start to the day. Overall, a practical and pleasant stay in Athens.

Good hotel

Pros: I liked the breakfasts in particular and the roof top bar was very nice.

Cons: The tea and coffee facilities in our room were not changed during the 4 days of our stay, when we asked for more, we were given them, but they were still not renewed daily.

Pros: The night porter was very helpful and it was nice to have a kind reception after arriving very late. The room was comfortable, large and clean.

Recommended - close to acropolis

Pros: The hotel is 15-20 walk from the acropolis area Easy to walk everywhere and there are plenty of bars and restaurants in the area. Room was comfy and the hotel has a restaurant at the top with views to the acropolis Breakfast was alright

Pros: The rooms are okay, the staff is very friendly. The price is reasonable. Location close to Syggrou-Fix makes it a good place to stay.

Cons: Prices at the rooftop bar are too high, the AC in the rooms is overdimensioned for such small rooms and loud like hell. Hard to find sleep with it running, impossible without. Our room wasn't properly cleaned. When we arrived there was hair all over the place. One day, the cleaning personell didn't close our door and we arrived to a room with an open door ...
