Excellent
Pros: The hotel is well located, close to the Greek Parliament. There is a metro station 150 meters away called Syntagma. For transportation, there is a bus stop and light rail nearby. The sightseeing bus also has a stop almost in front of the hotel. Congratulations to the staff, everyone was kind and ready to help. The breakfast was very good, and there is also a rooftop restaurant on the seventh floor with a view of the Acropolis. We had to go to the airport at 5:30 am, but breakfast only started at 6:30 am, however they left the coffee ready for me and my wife. Congratulations to everyone for the excellent service!
Cons: Everything

wonderful hotel
Pros: The location of the hotel is excellent, close to the main places in the city. We only walked, no need to take a taxi or metro. The hotel is great. Excellent breakfast. The staff is very helpful and kind. And the room we took was spacious with access to the balcony. Two rooms with a connecting room are excellent for 4 people

Great location, relaxed vibe, very clean
Pros: Great location Very convenient for Parliament building and national gardens (right opposite) metro station, Plaka and not far to acropolis (about 8-10 mins) Very clean Brilliant breakfast with lots of choice We could see the Acropolis from our bedroom window
Cons: Shower wasn’t fitted properly and was quite low down Tea and tea cups weren’t replenished and I raised this twice with staff at the desk We are English, we love our morning cups!! It was quite hot but we were able to open window and that resolved the issue

Pros: I stayed at Amalia Hotel Athens and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is excellent, very clean, and well maintained. The staff are friendly, professional, and very helpful. The breakfast buffet is varied and delicious. The view is beautiful, overlooking both the National Garden and the Acropolis, which made the stay even more special and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again.
Cons: There was nothing I didn’t like. Everything met my expectations.

Exclellent location, excellent breakfast, friendly service
Pros: We returned to Amalia Hotel for the umpteenth time, after an one-off disappointing stay last year. This time I avoided booking the cheaper room options so last year's disappointment was no more. The superior room is a good sized room with a comfortable bed with an excellent view of Syntagma Square and the National Garden across. Breakfast remains excellent with friendly service. The font desk manager and his staff handled efficiently and graciously an issue we had. The hotel is within walking distance of all major sights in the city centre and public transport. All-in-all, our faith in Amalia Hotel has been restored and we'll definitely return.
Cons: The heating on the room floors is perhaps excessive; we spend four nights in January without having to turn the heating on in our room. The hotel was obviously operating below capacity during this period, so I expected more flexibility with the check-out time, especially for repeating guests.
