Piraeus City Hotel

Comfortable room in nice hotel but parking an issue.

Pros: I've stayed here a few times and the beds are always comfortable and the staff are friendly and helpful. There are plenty of options to eat and drink nearby. I accidentally left my tablet behind and the hotel contacted me very quickly to let me know and held onto it for me until I could pick it up.

Cons: We hired a car from the airport this time and it was impossible to find anywhere to park close to the hotel. Luckily, I know Piraeus a bit or we would have got quite lost finding a carpark.

Pros: Proximity to Pireas city centre and to all facilities, shops and restaurants.

Great hotel for 1 or 2 nights

Pros: Very clean and tidy hotel Bed and pillows comfortable Handy to cruise/ ferries Staff very pleasant especially front desk Anastasia who was always helpful and smiling

Cons: Room was a bit small but clean and modern

Pros: The location in Pireaus was great, close to the metro. The staff also very polite and always willing to help. We paid the double room but at the reception, i asked for double with balcony and we got it free of charge. Thank you for everything!

Cons: Tha bathroom was very small, especially the shower, but for 3 nights, it was ok.

Pros: Very nice and clean room. Close to metro to airport and to the harbor.

Cons: Bathroom is very small. Only curtain no shower cabin. You take a shower and all the bathroom is wet. Such a great job of arranging the hotel. And such a pity.

Amazing stay

Pros: The staff are all super friendly, fluent in both Greek and English. Room was excelent, especially the lovely shower! It would be the perfect jumping off point if you're starting/ending your adventures at the port, but is also within an easy bus ride to the city center. There are many authentic Greek resteraunts close by, without the crowds of the city center.

Cons: Legitimatly nothing

Pros: Having spent in different hotels in Piraeus before taking a ferry to the island I’d like to say that Piraeus City Hotel was a very good experience. My room was spacious and furnished with taste, comfortable and clean! The bathroom has modern standards. The breakfast was good and lots of tasty things to choose. The reception staff was very friendly and quick. Everything was excellent.

Pros: Piraeus City Hotel is our second address. Every time we come to Pireas, we stay here.

Great location for both the cruise port & Athens sightseeing

Pros: The location was great for a 2 day Athens trip before getting on a cruise ship. The underground to get to central Athens is only 5 minutes away. Plenty of good bars & restaurants within walking distance for the evening. Room was large enough for 3 of us to be comfortable & nice to have outside space with the balcony. Staff were very helpful.

Cons: There was no overhead shower in the bathroom, only a handheld over the bath, but we managed ok. There was a lot of construction going on nearby so the balcony was very dusty but again not a huge issue.
