Troon of Athens Apartments

Great apartment in a lovely area of Athens. Would definitely stay there again.

Pros: The location is excellent, in a quiet area but also a short walk away from an open air cinema, a number of really good restaurants and bars. It is within easy reach of a metro station and it is also possible to walk into the centre of Athens in 15 or 20 minutes.

Cons: Access to the two bedrooms is via a narrow spiral staircase, fine if you are careful in how you approach them but possibly not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

Pros: Very clean, nice location and very attentive hosts

Cosy and uncomplicated

Pros: People very nice and helpfull. It‘s located a bit far away from the center but the area is quiet, with bara and restaurants and well conectes with the Bus and Metro. I can recommend the place

Very convenient

Pros: This is a comfortable, convenient place to stay in a great location, close to attractions like the acropolis and near grocery shops and restaurants. Communication with the host was good. Guests should ensure they have a look at the listing photos carefully, as many of the rooms have lofts which have steep stairs with no railings, so pay attention to the listing when you are selecting your apartment as not all spaces are suitable for young/old or those with concerns about mobility.

Amazing area if you want to experience a less touristy Athens

Pros: We spent a few days in Athens and we absolutely loved this area. If you are not so keen on being surrounded by thousands of tourists all the time then this is for you. Amazing restaurants and bars within walking distance that is mostly for locals not tourist traps, vibey and alive at night and quiet during the day. Still central enough to easily get to the touristy areas (walked to Acropolis, short train to museum of archaeology). The room was small but comfortable, all we needed for a few days exploring Athens.

Cons: One minor thing - nowhere to comfortably hang towels after use.

Lovely room in a great location.

Pros: The apartment is beautifully presented, clean and has everything that you need. It is superbly located on a lovely street with a great choice of bars and restaurants nearby. Would very highly recommend.

Cons: There are a few tiny details that could use a refresh, eg the sofa needs restuffing or probably replacing! But nothing that would stop me from staying there again.

Perfect location

Pros: The location is simply fantastic – vivid neighborhood, great gyros place close by, easy to park the car, 10 min walk to Acropolis – this is why we came back this year to the same appartment. It is a perfect place if you want to feel the city vibrant life and not being overwhelmed by it. The appartment is really nice, very clean, great to sleep.

Cons: We only missed a normal coffee pot but we managed to prepare the coffee even with the one in the appartment :).

Nice small studio at a very convenient location.

Pros: The apartment was small but very nice studio that had everything we needed. It was conveniently set up as well, so although small, it didn’t leave you feeling crowded. The location was absolutely superb with everything at hand (nice restaurants, bars, grocery shops, train/metro station). We basically did not need to take public transport as everything was at a walking distance.
