Unique Flat with Sea View at Edem Beach - A Seafront Property by Athenian Homes

I recommend

Pros: Large comfortable apartment with a large balcony and everything you need , even more. Good location, 5 minutes walk to the beach, 30 minutes by tram 6 to the city center. Easy to find and good communication with the owner.

“Home from home” is overused but in this case it’s 100% accurate

Pros: If you like an authentic home vs a staged aesthetic then this is the place for you. We wish we could have stayed a summer to read a fraction of the interesting books in the owners’ collection. The proximity to the sea, Edem restaurant, supermarket, bakery, airport bus stop, tram stops going in every useful direction … honestly couldn’t have found a better base for a long weekend. Aspa was super responsive on booking/viber, and never had someone care enough to check I got into a flat ok so that was super sweet. Having two sets of keys was really useful and the tidbits left in the flat for us were super thoughtful (esp since our flights got in after midnight).

Cons: The road noise does come through into the flat but just concentrate on the sun and the sea and remember this is Athens where cars are everywhere. If you’re wary of lifts like me, just take the stairs…it’s quicker anyway!

Pros: The beach is 2 minutes on foot, and the city centre is 30 minutes by tram (the stop is 100 metres from the gate). The terrace is spacious and comfortable, with a nice sea view. It is cosy furnished, there is even a piano in the living room. The kitchen is fully equipped. There is a dishwasher and washing machine. Super accommodation, I can only recommend it.

Enjoyable and relaxing.

Pros: Balcony was lovely and provided enough space to have family over. Nice view of the beach. The beach was across a busy road and the tram lines but traffic lights made it easy. Bed was comfortable. Supermarkets close, cafe nearby and trams easily accessible with a five minute walk so location was great.

Great beach location

Pros: The view from the large terrace is amazing. The apartment is clean and you have everything you need. The free access beaches are a few minutes walking and the same for community transports. Very good communication with the owner.

Pros: the location was just right for us. There is a big balcony where you can sit have coffee while looking at the sea right in front of you. Lovely view. The apartment is spacious and well decorated with everything you need inside.

Cons: the only negative thing I can say about the apartment was the shower. You had to hold the shower head while taking a shower- no hanger on the wall above the bath.

The Best Place To Stay at Edem Beach

Pros: Location, size of apartment, facilities, balcony, distance to beach. Communication with hosts - especially Aspa.
